quite a relaxing game! love the lore and its quite whimsical.
I loved how there were so many creature types! I had to be strategic about how I managed the eggs because once they hatched, sometimes I forgot which one was which haha! Very lovely work, the biome and animal design was top notch.
Cool creature designs :)
Very cool creatures! I wish I was able to open up the "egg and baby creature holding panel" on the left while looking through the book.
Very beautiful game, the art and design of the creatures are amazing. Especially all done in about two weeks!
Wonderful art & calm music! I wish I could look at my eggs while browsing the book, or at least the book would save which page I was looking at. Creature illustrations were amazing!
The art is gorgeous and the music is really soothing <3
It's crazy how many creatures you guys were able to draw in these two weeks. I really enjoyed reading the descriptions (always liked this kind of stuff).
I actually find the lack of tutorial as part of the inmersion, since it is supposed to be some kind of strange and unknown magic, right? Although it was hard to find the sidebar with the inventory.
I would have loved to see some kind of ending to maek the gameplay meaningful, or at least a progression, like unlocking the diary entries as you hatch the eggs.
Anyway, although the gameplay feels a bit repetitive, the presentation and art greatly compensates it. Well done!
The artstyle is really well done and the premise is interesting. The creature designs and attached lore were especially fun to read and it was an enjoyable experience. The lack of directions was a bit confusing though as we tried to figure out how to keep the creatures alive, but we slowly found our way through.
Yeah, our task distribution was a bit whack, so the written texts took a backseat to programming, art and music. I added a little description under the game and hope that helps.
