I absolutely love this! Thats a very unique take on a deckbuilder and its masterfully crafted! I've never played anything like it before and its so good! This has a lot of potential. Can't believe I found this last-minute, thank you for sharing it on discord.

If I had to point out something I think it could be improved is some of the SFX and graphics for the gladiators and waves. They could have more emphasis on screen, maybe rearranging the roulette and its pieces on screen to show a bigger battlefield and more detailed warriors. Also, I got a little confused at first, because normally our player is shown on the left side of the screen and the enemies are shown on the right side, so I thing switching the sides could make it more intuitive.

Great art and systems!

Nice game! The completeness is quite impressive, I believe the game is with great potential to be developed into a commercial one!

Well put together and the gameplay is fun. Good job!

As Nash said this reminds me of swords and sandals. Great to see how far this project has come. Great work!

It is cool! Reminds me of Swords and Sandals.

I love how tactile the UI is. It is just fun to click around and spin the roulette.

The game probably needed a bit more balancing, but I can imagine how hard games like this are to balance - let alone during 1 month.

Overall, very solid entry. One of my favourites thus far.

WE LOVE THE REFERENCE, thank you very much for the comment, as u say it is difficult to balance the game and even worst doing it in a month, we tried our best!!

I entertained my people, and you entertained me. Good job! I gotta say that's a lot of polish for a jam entry!

The only thing I have an issue with is that either the mouse pointer and/or the trigger sizes of elements are off. Especially when dropping the slices on the wheel of misfortune :) A quick fix that might polish this already polished game

WOW!

This is a full-blown videogame! I loved it and am about to go back in and play more :) there's so much here! From the animatic at the start to the nice tutorial slide show to the rich, genuinely challenging mechanics.

I think the only thing I'd critique on would be literally just swapping the positions of the gladiators and the monsters around. At the very beginning I was a little confused and thought I was controlling the gladiator because he was on the left of the screen. That's obviously a very minor issue though.

Bravo team you nailed it!

Tank you very much for your words! As our first game we wanted to give all of us and reading these type of comments make us very happy!

Very impressed with how polished it is! Great art work too. The game is pretty confusing though, and would really benefit from a tutorial. The ? box doesn't really tell you what's going on, just the objective.  But great job!

Developer

Thanks for commenting on the game's polish! We've put a lot of work into the project. It's true that we've done everything possible to make the gameplay and the game's concept clear, but by mixing so many mechanics, we weren't quite sure how to make it fun.

This one is addictive. We love the concept of being the bad guy instead of being the gladiator as usual. The art is really nice too!

Quite fun!

I love the idea, is quite fun. Its a little difficult to understand but once you do, its pretty nice. The variety of possibilities helps replayability. Also, hand drawn style its outstanding

Thank you very much for your feedback! It was very hard to us to balance the game in just a month.
