Great game and art, and somehow really smooth movement!

I thought it made it charming and more NES!

Easily my personal favorite for this jam. I neither have nor deserve to have any other comments.

A game not afraid to show off its love of castlevania! Fantastic entry and atmosphere :)

To be honest, your cover was not the most attractive, but I was immensely surprised by the game - perfect score from my side! So much personality in your art-style too. Makes me want to make an rpg next jam!

Quite possibly the best art of any game I have ever seen in a gamejam! Fabulous work; may the jam gods smile upon Dasia.

Perfect rating from me, I am not suited to judge this masterpiece!

Another fellow upward-climber! But with much better graphics haha! Took me some time to understand the wall jump but its a gem of a mechanic.

Interesting concept! I managed to make some progress only after I realized its better to escape the initial mobs of size > 1.

Great art and visuals, and absolutely nailed the NES feel! Also the floatiest jump ever haha.

Glad to know someone found it difficult as well, not just me!

Oh what!? I knew that this existed, but it felt like it took very precise timing to execute repeatedly, so I left it in. Haha, wow you broke the game.

What? Thats insane! My personal lowest is 7:15 after basically memorizing the whole map.

Great art and systems!

Great game! I left a rating and comment. :)

Very ambitious and well-crafted game! If I had one suggestion, it would be to lock the mouse so that I can move without hitting other things on my device (in WebGL mode).

Hey, I left a rating. Your username fits the game haha!

Thanks! I rated your game.

Yes, emulation worked, and I played your game and left a comment.

Appreciated the writing and the hand-drawn art style!

Thanks! I rated your game and left a comment.

I just rated yours and left a comment.

One of my highest rated games this jam. Also, we have a common idea with the waves taking away your space haha!

Indeed, I too feel the levels ramped up a bit too steeply. Perhaps I will try to make it have a gentler curve in the middle.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments!

Thank you for the kind comments!

Only game of this genre in this jam where I actually got around to enjoying the upgrade system!

Thanks, and I just rated your submission!

Haha, excellent idea, if quite stressful! Also fascinating UI design, really loved it.

Thank you so much, and it is a great honor to hear you say that it is an improvement on the classic!

Thank you for the comments, and very happy to hear you liked the game!

Also about the randomizer. I did have a random generator prepared during the jam, but had decided against releasing it since its quality was not up to standards. The memorization is a proper flaw in the design right now, and I will try to get around and polish things once the jam is over.

Thanks again for the kind words!

Just rated your game, excellent entry!

Ridiculously cool time dilation effect! Fantastic animations too. :)

Thank you so much for your kind comments and suggestions, and great to hear that you enjoyed the game!

Just played your game! Excellent work :)

And thank you for rating my game too!

Insane polish and super smooth movement; best game of this genre I have seen this jam!

Just rated your game and left a comment. It is super good!

Please also rate my game if you haven't already! https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2025/rate/4071615

Damn, that was insane. A complete particle simulation in this timeframe is crazy! Definitely one of my highest rated games this jam!

Phenomenal execution, with top-tier music! It also feels super smooth, not exactly sure why.

Following in the footsteps of prior greats, I have realized that rating barter is a miraculous idea where everyone wins.

So, in order to put my free time to some use, please let me know in the comments if you want your game rated. Would appreciate if you also get around to rating my game, Perilous Escape. https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2025/rate/4071615

EDIT: I realized I can probably also play downloaded games if they run on Windows, via Crossover emulation.

UPDATE 30/12: I will not be playing games for the next two days. Not sure if the voting will be open, but I can play again afterwards.

EDIT 2/1: I am resuming the barter scheme!
