Fucking golden game. Only thing I wish is that the cards were procedurally generated. You've inspired me so much that I am going to make my own spin off on this just with a bit less gambling and procedural generation (for my own purposes, i need this). Bardcore slaps, your humour does as well. The art style is unique. If you ever do create a deck of like 500 cards and pick them out randomly for randomly chosen (but adequate and fitting) adventures (could be recombined randomly based on certain probabilities), I will play this game for hours. Golden.
I could see that happening.
Maybe some handwritten campaing of a couple of levels (Level is 4 quests in our game)
And some proceduraly generated endlessmode.
I cannot imagine proceduraly generating something that would be consistently funny, but as a guessing game it could work.
Though the quest themselves would probably have to be written in some consistent pattern unless we wanted to use an LLM and I don't like LLMs in games as much.
Thanks for a glowing review and we are glad you enjoyed it!
Striking style and a fun premise. Took me a bit to grasp the flow, but once it clicked, it was entertaining. :)
Really funny and a good idea :D Was bold and sold everything in the beginning so I CAN QUADRUPLE MY CASH INCOME WOOOOOO YEAAAH LET’S GAMBLEE
Visually stunning and full of jokes, music amazing :D I think sometimes the card rotation glitched and got stuck :D But other than that it’s really great, good job!
Glad to hear such high praise.
Happy to see that you found our gambling enjoyable.
Card rotation sometimes gets stuck for a few seconds in a skewed state, but only if you move your mouse on it a lot I found it cool enough to let it be a feature not a bug.
(If they got stuck stuck - as in not moving when you move across them, then tell me, but I never came across that.)
I loved the visuals and overall gameplay! I laughed at the descriptions of the things to sell, especially tinder profile. Personally on me it was too much information everywhere and my eyes got confused at where to look in the beginning hahahh. In credit card info I started putting random numbers but when it said "Mastercard" I almost shat myself and rather checked "Skip card" just in case ahhaha
The artstyle gave a nice vibe to the game. At the login screen I wrote some random card number and it actually got accepted, so if someone’s bank account is gonna get siphoned its not my problem.

Amazing and so funny! I loved the don't stop belivin' medieval cover :D
I really loved this game. The overall feel of it is amazing, the animations feel smooth and the artstyle gives it a proper medieval-online-casino vibe :D The music is also amazing, almost like i heard it somewhere before.... :Ddd
It's just an amazing experience altogether, even just reading the adventurer's cards or the chat, selling your kidney for a quick buck and then winning a fortune thanks to a pixelated cat.
The only gripe i have with the game is that i cannot switch the tabs. So that i could switch the music of course.......
i loved everything about this, so many details (especially loved reading the chat). amazing visuals, again.
only the text was covered by the cards, so i had to keep on turning them to be able to see parts of the text:d
couldn't find the bread though:Ddd
Quest writer here:
The quest to find bread was and still might be partially in the game files. However since bread was provided, there was no need for BOLD adventurers to seek it.
If however you feel dissatisfied with the lack of Breadquests here:
Quest name: Bearing Bread

Matt the Fizzy
- Bringer of Exams
- Old as fu....
- Lender of locations
- Denier of open doors
Spens the Ponsor
- Bestower of Lunches
- Oathsworn to grant sustiance

- Devout to the Jammer's league
What a beautiful game! The whole aesthetic is really fitting for what the game is and it's more coherent than some steam releases. On top of that the music and funny messages really bring this all together. Great work!
I love this. I probably had most fun reading the funny chat, while listening to the glorious music. All of the descriptions are amazing. The gameplay itself feels a little confusing, but I figured it fits the theme when I bet my diploma all in on some random-ass cat XD
The details on the screen really sold the experience to me. Also, the visuals are lovely, all of them. Good job guys!
As a certified gambling addict this spoke to me.
Okay, the visuals here are really distinct and just my style. A bit of crunch and dithering, monocolor palette... Me likey. I loved the little details of the scrolling chat on the left, and hotwenches... Well, say less!
I can't really say I knew what I was doing as far as the gameplay goes. I tried picking heroes that seemed to fit with the quest, won money exactly once and then, after i sold my kidney, I won. The Web version got stuck on "Don't forget", so I went and played the windows version to see if it was intentional or not.
On my second try I understood more about picking the right adventurers, and some got a sensible chuckle out of me. I still don't really get the ending, but I sure am glad I sold my family home to get to it!
Hiya, artist here. I'm really glad that you liked the visuals! The ending got a little goofed up, it's supposed to say "Don't forget..." and "Fortune favors the bold" after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to update the build, but we're glad you finished our game :)
+ Sorry you had to sell your kidney.
