Very cool concept and great interpretation of the theme. I was a bit confused at first, but after a couple of tries it clicked! The only thing I would change is maybe have a different sound effect for the black and white ghosts, to give a bit more of an indicator which way the bar is moving.

In the begining I thought you only need to avoid the souls, but after some time i got what needed to be done to ascend. Very cool concept and interesting theme you have chosen, good job!

I like how the music kicks in once the game starts. I wasn’t sure what to do to win at first but I got it after my first attempt (perhaps you could make the balance indicator a bit more noticeable?) Asides that nitpick though this was fun! :D

It took me a while to figure out exactly how this worked, but I really liked this idea / mechanic!  Super fun, short little game.  I think some minor polish would go a long way, but overall I really enjoyed this.

I was very confused by this game. It is not immediately clear what you have to do, but eventually, I won. Also, the itch page background breaks on certain window sizes

I like the idle animation but i think you should rotate it when we press "w" and "d" same time. When it moves diagonally, you should rotate it. It looks weird otherwise. Good job

Nice idea about keeping balance: once you hit the wrong, you can heal yourself by going the other way.

One little thing is that the game could have hinted at how to win earlier; it is usually a bit of a bad idea to leave that vague. I was almost giving up, thinking it was "endless," before I saw the "solution ghost type." You could have had more ghost sizes and have the last one finally bring balance, etc.

The music is a bop, and the concept is fun, if I where to want for anything in this game it's a bit more to do/more variety. But what you have is a great bit of fun!

Feedback: The game could have more to it to increase the difficulty, maybe some evil sprits which home in on the monk and your player has to deflect them. Maybe a second objective, too.

I think this is a good base of a game you could take in lots of cool directions, and I like the story of what happens to you is different if you lose to black or white

Hey, I recognize this type of game with this font from Godot docs' Dodge the Creeps! :) I like the balancing spin you put on it, could've used an extra mechanic or two to spice it up, as currently it just boils down to waiting for the small ghost to show up.

Thanks for rating! I did have another Font before, but it was hard to read, so I swapped it in the end with the only other one I have and am sure I can use.  And yes, it's basically a clone from DtC, but with some new functionaltiy, like the color change of the player sprite and all sprites are made my me.  It would probably become actually better, if I could add colors to this and have blue, green and red ghosts change the RGB values.

This is definitely an interesting take on the black and white theme. If i had to critque you on something, i would have likes the endings to be more fleshed out and unique with more visuals.
