The timing of the QTE sequences that made me feel I was abusing her was truly excellent. The game's title was also perfectly chosen, so when the final title call appeared in the credits, I felt an indescribable emotion. Among the stage-themed works in this game jam, it was the most impressive.
Impressive animation, love all the details you put into it. Gameplay is basic but serves its purpose well. Mood is great and kept me on my toes all throughout. Great job!
Uncomfortable as hell, but that's the point. The direction, animation and audio design are absolutely fantastic, I love how it uses old 3D limitations (the face being a png, the polygon joints looking a bit doll-like) on purpose for the horror.
This was honestly one of the most disturbing and unnerving games I've played for this Hallowin, and this is saying something. I think the most disturbing thing for me is not the body distortion and mutilation (great animation work), not the eery visual shader and camera work (fantastic direction), and not the demonic voice that accompanies it (amazing sound design), but the strangeness of my situatedness as a player in the game. Am I the ballerina who performs the moves? Or am I some external force that temporarily possesses her body to dance and contort in all the unnatural ways? Both options are disturbing, but the latter is especially horrifying to me, since the implication is that I am the monster that possesses her to do this to her body. And this thought is scary to me.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I loved your game. This is one of those interactive experiences that really make you stop and think for a moment, and this is a rare and precious beauty.
This feels like art! Some kind of metaphor, like she had to sacrifice her body for the performance or something. Great game!
Wow–I’m not sure what I was expecting but it certainly wasn’t that! I do love a good classical x horror crossover! It’s reminiscent of black swan, perfect blue and I can see how this can be artistic take on the horrors of bodily perfection!
Bonus points for not making the notes timings insane! Great job, dev! ^^
Woow, i could almost feel those bones snapping, thats some great work there with the animations and sound effects. It looks real nice and also i very much liked the voice acting, great job!
Small scope, awesome art style. I feel like I am in a museum watching some modern art playing this game!
Big thank you!
Act 2 hits hard. The simplicity of the gameplay really lets us focus on the visuals and you managed to make a LOT out of the few assets that you had here. Great camera work, great pacing and style. I just love this entry.
Félicitation c’était vraiment fascinant!
Such a nice comment! Thank you so much!
Merci! 💃
Ah! Finally, a game that stands out from the crowd! I loved it, it's great work. The graphic style is neat and masterful. And I particularly like the choice of red with black and white; it's also the choice we made for our game. Solid entry, bravo.
Thank you friend! That's a great compliment! I’m not very good at coding or designing solid game mechanics yet so for now I’m focusing more on the art and story aspects-
I will be checking out your game now!
Well that was very intriguing haha! Very simple but done so well, congrats :)
Thank you, I bow to you!
Wow, that was fascinating! The gamification is not strong, but the overall experience of the game, watching it as it slowly evolves into more horrifying was really enjoyable and creepy. The idea is creative and it makes me very curious to what other horror games you create! Getting Suspiria and Black Swan vibes, huge faves. Nice job for this unique entry <3
Started to get really into it when body horror stuff started up!! I'd recommend putting in some checkpoints, so you don't have to start over if you miss a symbol. Great work!
that's a good idea! Thank you!
