Aw what a cute little game! I played it all the way through and loved the story! It was creatively written, the characters were fun and it didn't overstay it's welcome at any point. I liked catching butterflies - and the turtle - the lunching was super fun. I specifically also liked that each character felt unique in the way the dialogue was written. The world also looked very nice and cozy, plus the music accompanied that nicely. Good job! Thanks for participating in the jam!

You made a game about a dark topic funny and cozy. I really enjoy it, especially with the little polishes you have put in it. I like the different silly areas you have put in. The writing is also fun.
Some things I would have liked to see: more music, louder volume. I would love to have seen more sound effects. I also would loved to have seen branching paths or endings.

Really polished game. Great humor, excellent game design (well-scoped, with good storytelling, and a nice side-quest of lauching ourselves to the floor and catching butterflies). Nice music as well, I wish we had more of it and of sound design. Good inspiration from Undertale, cute as heck green guy, some fun stuff. I hope if this becomes a bigger game, I get to catch 10,000,000 butterflies.

Yes this was all just me... Hence why even getting this out was down to the wire. Though I will be uploading a more polished version after the jam, it might be a while before I decide if I want to make this a bigger game. There is a different big project that I am currently working on right now, so we'll see I guess.
That was really fun. The dialogue was funny, and I loved everyone's reaction to the character answering everything with yes or no lol. The art style was cute and suited the game well, plus I liked how the trees animated a bit. I think it would be cool if the guy you sell butterflies to had something to say if you didn't have any on you when you try to sell.
If you update it and add the things you were disappointed you couldn't add, I'll for sure replay it. :)
