at first i didn't think that i'd be able to beat it, but got, does this game just pull you in and does not let go until the very end. it is really solid, really fun, and the music just gives it such a peacufull vibe, that i couldn't rage when i kept fucking up for the 10th time in a row. A really good game! Love it!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😄
Nailed it!
ok, to be honest - I suck at games, so i've decompiled it and added me sorry self an ability to jump, lol)
so, what I liked:
- trippy visuals
- cute monkeys
- hook mechanic
- respawn
what I didn't like
- levels are a bit punishing
- would loved to have a crosshair
- main bgm contains a low hum around 40-sh hz , which made me and few people in vc a bit uncomfortable.
Anyway, nice entry!
Thank you for playing! I'm flattered you hacked a jump in so you could see the entire thing.
I'm sorry I forgot to add a crosshair, I know it makes playing a lot easier for people😢
Thank you for pointing out the low tones in the music, maybe I can filter it out in an update
took a while to grasp the mechanic but very satisfying when you can go yeet yourself at high speed
great game! very hard, when you bounce it just right and go flying is so fun
Incredibly fun once you get the hang of it!
Interesting Mechanic.
Loved the physics based mechanics of this game. First I was confused but after getting the hang of it was so much fun. Great work!
Very satisfying grapple mechanics, was fun to slingshot myself around the level and ignore the intended path if I wanted to :P
Got stuck on the second level (I'm not great at platformers T_T), but the mechanics felt very physics-y and I loved the vibes! Really impressive work for such a short timeframe!
Thanks for trying! If you want to give it another go, watch this trailer I put together for some guidance on how to use the grapple.
That's so great, I definitely would! Your game was one of my favourites for sure!
I'd play this for hours! I love this kind of physics puzzle platformer, reminds me of those marble games!
Yes, I have fond memories of marble games! If I had more time I wanted to adapt some elements of Marble Madness by adding another level before you get the grapple.
the mechanic is so fun! although visually it's hard to understand how to proceed and such.. it'd be nice to have a pointer to see better where monkey b is going to land for example.
Totally agreed! I need to add a crosshair at least. B is physics based so drawing the actual path it will take is pretty challenging though 🤔
Very challenging and interesting machanic! I enjoyed playing.
Very serene and nice vibes, but the gameplay was kinda frustrating to me (I don't like platformers).
Thanks for playing! It's OK to not like platformers 😁
Played for quite a while trying to complete some parts, a good challenge!
Fun! I had at first expected it to be a monkey ball clone, instead it turned out to be more like a physics based spider man game - quite enjoyed collecting the plushies by shooting myself at light speed ignoring the pre made paths ^^
Very fun to play
Love this old vibe. A little hard to play, but well, i had fun!
very challenging, I like the mechanics and the robot was very cute, original and with interesting physics, I had fun. Good job!
This one is fun! Challenging in a good way.
Really great mechanics, and overall very fun game! I had an issue where I couldn't click in the menu (esc removes mouse control for the game in Firefox) to lower the sensitivity, so it was a bit hard to aim for me. But it was still fun, and I overall really enjoyed the experience.
Oof, sorry! The browser does its own thing capturing the ESC key and while I got Chrome to behave it never occurred to me that Firefox might be different.
No worries, that happens. Considering it was created in 4 days, I'm still really impressed with it!
I really enjoyed that the mechanics allowed the levels to be beaten in many different ways. Has simple core mechanics but are very well utilized!
