This was a very cool experience. It was pretty surreal to watch the island come to life a bit of the color spectrum at a time. Great job!
The VOD is linked below, and will be available for 60 days. There is a little bit of artifact just after the intro due to the bit rate tanking, this happens when there are alot of pixels shifting on the screen at the same time (from the main menu). This only effected the stream, and didn't actually happen in game.

Thanks for playing, yeah that beginning shader is pumping out a lot of color and change. Shader Toy is how I got started with this game and then found 3dTerrain... just incredible good assets out there.
Thanks for making the video glad you were able to play through it.
Man, this is one of the best games in the jam. It's so original, perfect length, perfect music. This game rocks. Gave you a very high score, I have no complaints. Keep making games! I want to see more from you.
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.
Yeah man, This is it. This is the bizarre, surreal but strangely zen experience i love to see in a game jam.
Cool game, no notes, think it was fun experience. Also, the soundtrack slaps.
What terrain package did you use? Looked into it in the past for a project and i can't seem to get a good consensus on what's decent out there.
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.
I used 3dTerrain, it is easy to use and beautiful, my first time using it - definitely want to see want else I can do with it
This is something else, this almost feels like a religious experience. The combination of the music and the realistic graphics, it's like the creation of a world.
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it, assuming those were all positive :D
Nice work, what was a really fun take on the theme. I suuuuper appreciate how fast you move, even though the literal core action of “collection thing” was really simple, it was still fun just moving that fast. Sounds like you’re going to… expand… on the the game; one thing I think would be cool is to add some puzzle/secondary element, like being able to manipulate colors and that can expose some secrets. There are the color blind tests, a series of dots and if you can’t see the symbol you have some form of coloblindess. You could start off with a colorblind filter and as you gain colors, it gets corrected. I say this but am colobrlind myself so couldn’t actually do that exact version but I wonder if there’s something similar. Again, love the super unique premise!
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it, yes didn't want it to be a slow boring game.
Very interesting idea with the color blind test, obviously a potential problem but there are ways to switch palettes to account for this. I don't know where I will take this - often let the themes/wild cards direct my games.
Thanks again for playing and the good feedback
Ambiance is cool, music fits well and the color expanding shader is pretty cool! I really wished I coud leave this damn island haha!
Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it... hopefully it will "be continued", the 3dTerrain package is amazing so plan to expand on it
What a nice idea! The reduced number of colors combined with the fast-forward effect creates a really cool, surreal atmosphere - the music fits very well too. I wonder how the colors work - did you use some kind of histogram to decide which colors end up in the game?
Glad you liked it. The color selection process was all done in a shader that looped through the colors and found the "closest" fit then the shade of the color was determined by "closest" again - it felt a little wonky but ended making the colors cycle which made the rainbow progression work.
There are dll files that need to be uploaded:
libterrain.windows.release.x86_64.dll
and maybe this one too:
libMTerrain.windows.template_release.x86_64.dll
I am working to get them uploaded via "bug fix"
I have uploaded the dll files (should just need to be in the same folder.
I also uploaded a full zip file: colors_win.zip
this has all the files in one place
Great intro, but sadly after this the screen got black and i couldn't play it.
And what about this great music? Sounds kinda like Symphony of Destruction from megadeth
I have uploaded the necessary files via bug fix (thanks GWJ team)
I will give credit shortly for the multiple songs, I love mod archives - sadly I will never be able to make good music..
still not working
sadly, I could not get this to work either - feel free to ping me if there is a workaround/fix to the black screen after the intro
Sorry about that

I want you to know that I still think about Burning Buildings from the GoGodot Jam, I was very excited but sadly I too was suck on the grey screen with fantastic music :)

The game never loaded for me after the chilling intro. Though thought this may have been an intentional design choice, so spammed WASD + space bar to see if I could "re-find the colours," but to no avail!
Music is badass however.
Glad you liked the intro
