This is a very cool turn-based twist on snake - the snake graphics really remind me of my childhood of the snake games I used to play!

I think if you add the descent part to give some progression or some kind of a goal like going down to level 10 to eat the golden apple, it could become quite quite addictive.

Takes a bit to study the abilities and figure out how to apply them, but once you get a rough idea of what to do it starts to become pretty fun. Nice game!

I really liked the upgrade elements of the game, the drill specially was very nice to have.

By the way, the drill is not enlisted in the description of the game.

I don't know if this is a bug or by design, but sometimes the enemies would get stuck in a corner until I approach them.

Nice twist on a Snake. 

On one map I've got wizard blocked by walls from all sides, and I was like "hehe, that's what you need".

Didn't get the idea of "serpent" but after that the game was very fun! Fight with bats to make a lot of self-bodies to keep yourself more :D

Love the gameplay

Was confusing that enemies makes turn on my key press, so before my actual turn

When I snaking around my bited tail, I didn't see my character and it also took some time to understand that's happened

Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking of detecting those stuck moments, but what I did was instead to add the "Drill" upgrade (for moving through walls and only give you the R button for restarting. It's in the end a roguelike and I believe it's main feature is to face consequences of your decision :D (But if you wanted to move left and the snake went up instead it is a bug - did you used swipes or keys? I added swipe gestures, but I noticed there are some problems with those :( )
I like your idea of re-using bats very much! :D
I think the snake should be rendered from head to tail to prevent your last pointed out issue and that would solve a problem. I wanted to leave a possibility to move over yourself (but in the end you are moving below yourself xD)

Great game! Good idea to respawn from descendants, sweet music and nice colors! I like the fact you used procedural generation as well.

Thank you! I was experimenting a lot with colors, in the end reverted back to making everything look as minimalistic as possible, yet still being clearly understandable visually :D

there is no doubt that it's a cool game, but I liked to know the next move of every character, makes the game more strategic than random in my opinion

Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking of adding such ability, but as an upgrade (of course didn't managed to fit it in) But the AI behavior actually depends on your move. Though the AI is rather predictable, so the longer you play, you tend to see the patterns :D

Oooo, very smart on the background color choice -- it's immersive! And very neat idea; snake is better as a roguelite xD
