Very fun! :)

Has that "Mount and Blade" feel, but as an idler. Great idea!

Fantastic job! It was just as fun as the 3D version :)

Fantastic job! It was just as fun as the 3D version :)

Thank you! I do plan to. There are many things I'd like to implement to see what I can accomplish with Defold (and hopefully make a fun mech game)

Happy to help, haha - thanks!

Thanks! Yes, I wasn't able to finish a few things (logic for when the player's health reaches 0, particles for hits and enemy destruction, respawning, a score display, occlusion checks for the AI so they're not always aiming at your and shooting when you enter their visibility triggers :P).

Haha, yes, the shots are horrendous. I saved the sound manager code until the day of submissions and it certainly shows. I saw the post about gating in the docs, but wasn't able to properly implement it before submission time. Oh well!

astrochili's Kinematic Walker and Operator extensions were extremely helpful for this :)

Yeaaah, I made the mistake of saving the sound manager for last -- something happened when I tried to gate sounds so they don't overlap and I couldn't fix it before the submission :P. I was never able to finish the actual gameplay elements either - definitely more of a prototype at the moment.

Thanks! I'm new to Blender, but once I found a good workflow it was much easier to use (and after watching some tutorials:

The grid is made from a world space shader and I used a custom render target to lower the resolution of the game but not the UI, as well as apply some post-processing effects like vignetting and dithering.
GLSL shaders are great!

Yeah, I wanted to see how Defold would hold up with 3D -- it's a lot easier with astrochili's plugins/libraries.

Reloads and limits are so ... limiting :P

Great art style! Love the cat :)

Oooo, very smart on the background color choice -- it's immersive! And very neat idea; snake is better as a roguelite xD

Definitely the best version of Duck Hunt -- great twist!

It's surprisingly addictive! Better than pong, I'd say xD. Well done!

Haha, yeah -- I didn't have time to add raycast occlusion checks to the AI's visibility colliders, so they ... see you through everything and just blast away : P

Thanks - same here! I need to learn not to over-scope though : P

What a great idea for a twist! Looks and feels like a legitimate Bomberman: Pac-World xD

Wow, love the the audio and feel. It reminds me of the best games on gameboy. Very well done!

A E S T H E T I C. Very nice

Love it! Fantastic work
