Ranked from 30 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
All about fighting biscuits (british biscuits, so cookies, since that was more fun). You score points with dice using combinations of various baking ingredients instead of numbers.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Practically everything was made from scratch during the jam (design, code, animation, sfx, music, etc.). Only a few free fonts were used as stock. Team of 2, but we had 2 other friends record some foley on the last day.

How many people worked on the game?

I like this game's twist on poker! It's a more accessible version of the classic poker that comes installed on WindowsXP, featuring cute cookie-characters. I had the hang of beating my opponents semi-quickly, and reached round 10... My only gripe is I wish there wasn't a cooldown on the types of hands you could score... But that's it. A cute experience!

Cool game! I would need a tutorial level, but after I few tries I understood it.

I like the different combinations and unlocks you can get!

I like the idea but I feel like a tutorial is really needed, because even after reading the stuff on the itch page, I wasn't sure how everything worked or how I could consistently get good scores. However from what I got, I do like the core concept, and the art and music are both great!

Pretty cool idea, a bit confusing, and I feel it is mostly pure rng... I didn't fully get it how can I consistently defeat the first cookie... I get it that I have to make combos to get a good score, but I just don't know how to consistently do it.... The visuals are pretty nice, the sounds effects are pretty good and the music is good as well. I did found a bug where the cards would stack together, at first I thought it was a feature, as two chocolate cards stacked, but then I tried doing it and it did nothing, then a chocolate and an egg card stacked, then I knew for sure it was a bug xD.

Overall, cool game, has some potential if more fleshout!

Really solid! Yahtzee’s a great idea for “risk it for the biscuit” and the theming is cool. The rolling sound sounded exactly like some someone trying to slurp up the last drops of soda through ice at the bottom of their cup, which got a little aggravating. I wish you’d been able to spin it into something more than just “beat a target score that keeps increasing every few rounds,” but there’s a really solid foundation here to build on. Good work! :)

That was really amazing.  It was so fun and the art was amazing.  My score was 4,680.  One of my favorite games so far!  Excellent Job!

Cool game. I really like the biscuit theming and it's fun rolling the dice to try and get more points. The cooldown mechanic is also a very creative way to add some more depth to your decisions.
