Thank you so much for trying our game and the feedback! We want to add an in game tutorial after the game jam is over. :) Thank you so much for the kind words!

What a cool game! I love the narrative/story aspect and the art is gorgeous, both the sprite work and the portraits. I really enjoyed the overall theme and the option to play with a controller is an awesome touch. I really appreciated how well the controls were explained at the beginning and the little starting area where I could "practice" the controls. It would be cool if there was a training dummy or something to make the practice a little more interesting but that's completely optional. Wonderful job overall! What a great entry!

Thank you so much for trying our game and the kind words! We appreciate it! :)

This was a fun take on rock paper scissors! I struggled a little bit to figure out how to move the characters in front of the doors and how to use the cards so a tutorial built into the game, or maybe a photo tutorial on your game page might be helpful in the future. I really liked the concept, the art style was really cool and felt very thematic. I want to come back to this game and play it some more!

Thank you so much for trying our game and for the feedback! I think we will try to implement a tutorial after the game jam. :)

This was a fun little challenge! It was a little funny to see grandma trying to reach/see the dog even after he ducked into the vents. I sometimes wished grandma's cooldown after seeing you was a little faster, it felt like I had to wait awhile for her to go back to baking. It was also funny to see her put the plate of cookies down right in front of the rats. Felt like she was feeding them. Haha. Cute game! I tried to get extra chocolate cookies but it capped at 10. Very impressive for a 1 person team!

My brain struggled with understanding how long the airtime was when jumping. I pretty consistently kept feeling like I should have landed, but was still airborne. I adjusted but that was the biggest hurdle early on. I like that there was both an easy and a hard path. I do wish there had been checkpoints though. Great game overall! Impressive with a 1 person team. I like the colors and overall feel of both the game and the game page, it feels very polished. Well done!

Here's our game! Looking forward to trying yours out.

This was a super fun and cute game! I wish I could have adopted more cats, but otherwise it was super fun. Feels like you could definitely take this game further if you wanted! Good game loop!

Thank you so much for trying out our game! We appreciate the kind words and feedback! The cooldown mechanic does add a bit more strategy. :)

This was a surprisingly hilarious game! After fighting the first bug and loosing a limb in the milk I thought "it would be pretty funny if you could use the bug's limbs" I was absolutely delighted to find that was the case.  Fun game! It took a little while to get use to the controls, but it was pretty smooth overall. I did wonder if I was suppose to do anything with the ovens but there didn't seem to be an interactive element? Overall fun game, great job!

If you get to our game and want to check it out here's a link.  :) I'm intrigued by your game title!

Was a really fun game, you guys did a great job! Left a rating and a comment! :)

Such a fun game! I really enjoyed the visuals, little stuff like the tire trails dragging behind the character added a lot to the character and atmosphere of the game! It was really helpful to have the game page up to the side while playing so I could figure out the mini games. I think having a little optional pop up in game for each of the mini games would be really helpful moving forward. Additionally maybe some kind of directional alert when first starting the game to direct you to the terminal and later the bridge controls would make it a lot more self contained/intuitive instead of making you rely on the game page for direction. Overall a crazy impressive game for a 3 person game jam! The mini games have good variety (I chuckled when the letter one spelled out biscuit) and the art is very charming. The little reward/gatcha machine is a fun touch and I'm always a fan of being able to change your character's appearance. Very much feels like it would make for a fantastic multiplayer game with everyone trying to keep the ship from falling apart.

Give me a few and I'll play and rate your game! It already looks pretty cool from the cover art and screenshots!

This was a fun little game! The instructions were clear and I was able to jump right in and play. I enjoyed the art style, it was very cute. It seemed a little bit to easy at times, a little more challenge would be nice, but for a single person team this was really impressive for a game jam!

I wasn't expecting to play a pirate game today but what a treat! I made it to the final harbor but then couldn't acquire the biscuits needed to battle the pirates.

I think my only suggestion would be to have the game "pause" while the tutorial pop ups are up. I feel like I missed out on some opportunities because I was reading/processing the tutorial and missing out on some of the timed gameplay elements.

Overall a fun game! I liked the art style a lot! The sound effects and music suited the game as well. Really impressive for a game jam!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and provide such detailed feedback! The Ui/tutorial section is definitely a weaker point in the game, particularly if you don’t have familiarity with other dice based games. That is certainly something we would like to improve on in a future iteration (outside of the game jam)! Also love the feedback/suggestion to improve the game’s “juiciness” (And thank you for linking the article too). This game was our first Game Jam and we have been learning a lot. Feedback like this is invaluable so thank you for taking so much time to invest back into the community, it is greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed our little game! :)

This was such a treat to play! I love a good puzzle game and this one had a great feel to it. I like how painless it was to restart levels so I could just play around and figure it out without worrying about loosing progress. It was also nice to have the solutions available, sometimes I solved something but I wasn't sure if I did it the "right" way so it was fun to look and see. Overall a gem of a game!

Thank you so much for trying out our game and all the feedback, much appreciated! :)

Wow! This is really a polished game! I love the choice of art, animation, and music. The overall feel of the game and presentation is really nice and adds to the thematic feel. I really like the character art, it definitely was the part that stood out to me the most. I play a bit risky so I got caught but it was very fun. Good work!

This is a fun little game! It reminds me a bit of super auto pets (in a good way) with how you battle other players and have a shop to set things up. I like that it isn't time based though, it let me read through things and try to figure out how the items interacted with each other. The storage is a nice option too.

I did seem to run into a glitch when I first tried playing as soon as I hit go it took me to this screen and I was unable to progress/get out. I ended up refreshing the page and trying to play again. I'm glad I did since I quite enjoyed your game! The art and music is cute, it feels really polished overall too. Well done!

I liked the background art in the boss fight area, the themed stained glass was really cool. Gave a lot of atmosphere. The sound effects were all fantastic and the voice acting was fun. A health bar for the boss would make it more engaging, I couldn't tell how close I was and it made it feel a little endless at times. Fun little game though! Impressive for a one person team.

Thank you so much for giving our game a try, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thank you so much!

I love all the art/designs for the towers, both really cute and super thematic! I enjoyed seeing a different take on tower defense. Overall a cute and fun game!

Thank you so much for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed our game! :)

It took me a second to figure out what I was doing but once I got the concept down it was all smooth sailing! It was a fun and slightly goofy game. The art style is fantastic. I like the voice over/sound effects too. Nice work!

It was very satisfying to get a long chain of coins! Fun little game! I also liked the little sound every time I picked up treasure!

I like the chess theme! It's a fun little game I like the upgrades and that you have to decide which rewards/negatives suit you best. It felt very polished. I liked the tutorial area with the instructions painted on the floor, again very thematic! It took me a little while to get use to the aiming but overall super intuitive game loop!

Congrats on your first game! The art style is really cute, the character movement was smooth and the flashlight mechanic worked well (usually I dislike in the dark games but it worked well here). I liked the sound effect of the purring cat getting louder as you got closer. For a game jam first game with a one person team this is absolutely fantastic!

The chicken's long neck cracked me up every time. Haha. This was a really funny/goofy game but it was a lot of fun! The chicken model is really cute, turning into a drumstick on death was also quite hilarious.

It was near the beginning! I was near a section with three(?) spinning red circles and the camera was stationary so I tried moving my mouse and it moved very quickly/extremely.

This was a really polished game! It was a little tricky to keep track of base and find your way back up quickly if you fell too far but it was very satisfying to go mine cookies. The art style was very cute and the music and sounds added a lot to it. Impressive game for a single developer in a game jam! Very polished feeling!

I also really liked the little story at the beginning/end! It was cute and was a good way to convey the goal of the game!

That title screen art is absolutely fantastic! I like the intro and the platforming is fun. The only issue I ran into was whenever I adjusted my camera with the mouse it was crazy sensitive and started making me motion sick. I don't know if there is another way to adjust the camera direction but I did have to stop playing from that. Otherwise I was having a blast! I like the voice acting and sound effects. It's a fun game!

The game play felt a lot like celeste to me. I think the pixel art and dash maybe? Anyways, definitely a good thing! There were parts that were more challenging and a bit of a puzzle to get past. I like that you instant respawn in the same room (also celeste like). It made deaths less annoying and I could focus on the game/challenge more. Nice job!

I like the black and white theme with a limited color palette. The art style kind of reminds me a little bit of Henry Stickman. I'm really impressed with how much interaction you managed to fit in along with all the story dialogue. The opening credits were a cool touch too. It looks like you had fun making this, it would be neat to see more cases.

I really liked the music it seemed to add a lot to the overall feel of the game. The cards and character interactions with the cards were entertaining.  I liked the art style. I agree with other comments that I wasn't entirely sure what I was suppose to do. I was mostly focused on the stats to the left and wasn't sure how I was suppose to get the required money in the timeline. I got there eventually. Fun game, feels like a demo!

Fantastic game! I love the pixel art and aspect ratio it truly felt retro and very thematic all around with the choice of sound and visual prompts. I really enjoyed it!
