How long was your dev time?
The actual game was developed within 3 hours, but then I could not stop myself... and spent many more hours... added an interactive dialogue cutscene at the end, polished the game, spent some time writing dialogues, story, about the game, etc. Created game poster and game page... blah blah blah!

I tried drinking several beers to get on the same level as Sir Quackamore, but I must have two left webbed feet and kept falling down and unable to get back up without my yummy slithering gaseous snacks!
hahhaha...lol :D .....thanks for trying it out :) ...appreciate it!
I will bite whoevers idea was the reverse controll. Apart of taht its a really fun game. Sadly I got stuck around level 3,4 but its still better then beating it on normal diffulty. The concept for me was a bit random but after I have read one of the comments it explain the reason behind it. Music and sound design was great the only small problem was the the sound effects were laud compared to music. Smooth controls and the pixel sprites were good as well :).
Hey! thanks a lot for trying it out :)
the inputs are switched on purpose + the gliding, to make it more difficult to play ...remember you selected "Hard" mode :D .....also to show that Sir Quackamore is drunk.
I love how you incorporated all the game ideas from the last few weeks! Dimitri, the bomb defusal, the snakes, the drunks... Thanks for making this :D
hey! thanks for playing :) I'm gad you liked it :)
I'm really upset with you. I didn't know ducks ate snakes. I can't unlearn this information. How am I supposed to go to the lake now, see the little ducklings, and not envision them growing up to be snake-eating monsters? *Cries in grossed-out*
Unwanted knowledge aside, I think you have the start of a very fun game here. I did find it exceptionally difficult to progress, unfortunately, so I had to give up around level 2 or 3. I think modifying the materials would help, because it felt like I was running on ice. It felt like I never got a "break" to recalibrate myself since platforms literally will slip out from under you due to the lack of friction. Combined with the reversed left/right controls, which I am not sure were needed, movement was really tough. Maybe you felt it was too easy otherwise?
Everything else was great - the vibe, the visuals, the lil quacky sound when you jump, the bonkers setting of a duck in an Egyptian temple, the fart superpower, and the fact that you recharged it by eating snakes. None of it made sense and I loved that. I would absolutely have played to the end if I could have gotten the hang of the movement. :)
Hey! thanks a lot for trying it out and for the detailed feedback :) ....you might even get nightmares of the duck with snake in his mouth :P

Oh god, the control... it was a nice challenge, ahah. A good amount of frustration, but not too much, so I still want to try again.
A funny game!
hey! good to know that .....thanks for playing :)
The ending had me laughing out loud, this is brilliant. I thought it was a good amount of challenge to figure out how to navigate and get good at the controls. I died several times to hitting the wrong direction key, but always felt like if I just tried one more time I wouldn't panic and hit the wrong one. By my final run I was able to skip most of the platforms and show Dimitri what happens when you don't bring back two snakes.
This game is a beautiful gift to the handful of us who were there for last week's stream.
there you go ...you made it! congrats! ....i am very happy that you liked it :) ...thanks for playing and for the kind words :)
Fun game, thanks for including my character and snake concept :) The premise the of the game is cool, I like the farting mechanic too, very funny power. I had a bit of trouble controlling the character as the inputs for my A and D keys seem to be switched. I also glide along the floor, which feels a bit slippery. The double jump idea is cool, though my character seems to be able to do a triple jump and skip the first floor of platforms, and a couple more too. As I walked along the bottom of the screen, I could see the text was trying to tutorialize mechanics and gives me quick lore dump. I the texture of the sand on the platforms, but the platforms themselves blended into the background (since the colours are quite similar). The difficulty select is quite funny. I find the mention of the skip button quite a funny easter egg (funny reference from the stream). The hitboxes of the platforms and the enemies are a bit unforgiving, I sometimes hit my head or die when I am not touching the enemy sprite. The duck the the thumbnail is a bit uncanny. The different levels are nice, and the enemy and player designs and animations are cool. Overall a tough, but fun game. I didn't make it all the way to the top, I managed level 3 and fell down. Maybe a checkpoint mode would be nice.

regarding getting killed by the enemy..... you get killed if you enter the enemy vision only and not just by touching the enemy ...that way Sir Quackamore can jump on the enemy head ...now don't ask me why he would jump on the enemy head ...that's what he likes to do :P
I purposely didn't put the checkpoints ...again to make it hard ....if you fall down, you start again ....hehehe :D
