Much better! You fixed it :)

It is possible! Think strategic burning

Cant make the second jump :( I think the browser framerate may be killing your velocity a bit.

Love this! I couldn't get past level 8 for forever, but then I got it :D :D

Great game! I saw it played on stream.

5/5 excellent job!!

I really like the strategy involved in the choices, and how it evolves as the gameplay progresses to the later boxes. One thing I would like to see is a reset button, because sometimes you find yourself with a zero possibility of winning after a few bad rolls.

Excellent submission!

Very true, very true. A small oversight with grand consequences :D
Thank you for the kind comments!

A nice, simple interpretation of the theme! Sometimes the opened box gets stuck on the next one for me, which makes it super hard to keep going. Otherwise, everything comes together nicely - great job on your first unity project!

Nice take on the Survivors genre. I especially like the reload sequence!

Great movement mechanics, good enemy variety, great sounds... this is an excellent entry. I played all the way through!

I love this game! Some boxes I couldn't get to though, so I couldn't get to the ending :(

Otherwise, perfect entry. Nice Job!

Wow very nice entry. Simple art, good music, great gameplay. I got to level 9!

5/5 for me, excellent entry.

Very well done! I'd like it if "enter" would submit the answer, since you're already typing. The art and sounds are excellent. Nice job!

The camera shaking is insane!! I think you could reduce it by a lot.

Haha that was a interesting experience :)

Chrome on Windows 11. I can get the Start button to appear on mouse-over, but that's it.

I click and hold on the "Start" button, but still nothing happens :(

I was able to get 72!  I like the different types of boosts you can get... what does the goblin one do? Good job getting all the different mechanics done within the 3 hours.

I wish there was a playable web version :(

The bunnies kept eating my keys!! Cool cozy little game. I wish the player moved just a tad faster, but otherwise this was really fun to play! Nice job getting it done within the time limit as well.

Cool take on the classic matching game! The jam you listen to while finding jams was a nice touch :)

Top score: 22 (I got really lucky I think)

I can't figure out how to start the game :( I keep clicking on "Start" but nothing happens?

All the mechanics you put in are pretty cool! How long did it take you to make? (You didn't fill out the dev time field)

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Haha yeah that's a good way to speed run 😁

I love this! I had the same idea, and Another World/Out of the World is one of my favorite games of all time. Nice job!

Great little game!

This is great! Really cool mechanic. I haven't beaten it yet after about a dozen tries... But I'm close :D

The intro comic is awesome. It really sets the vibe.

Nice job on your first try at 3D! The movement works well.

The vibe of this game is great! Of course, you know about the collider issues breaking the game already.

I think you are just a little practice away from a solid Trijam entry.  You already have a good development process to be able to put this together within the three hours. Tasks like picking  the right type of collider shape, camera sizing, physics tweaks,.. they all become so much faster and easier the more you do them. If you keep iterating through your process, you're going to have great Trijam games (and others) really soon.

I loved the witch cackle timing :D

I really enjoyed playing this! The slowing fields mixed with the visuals is a great mechanic. Once I got around 100 points it started getting really hard to kill the bad guys and I didn't make it much further. I think the strength of the shots needs to go up a little higher with each level to help the balance a bit.

The graphics work well for the theme, and the audio helped add to the experience without becoming annoying or repetitive. You did a fantastic job putting this all together in the three hours.

I went WAAAAAY over as well. Gonna check out yours soon, can't wait! :D

Yes you can qualify for first place, so long as the project didn't take longer than 3 hours to create! Build times, itch page creation, etc. don't count towards the three hour time limit.

Hahaha I'm so happy you made another! It was cool to see it pop up.

Good adaptation of the previous game, it feels like a solid sequel with the extra bomb mechanics and the slimes. You could have a full game and each of these mini-games as a world or level :)

I noticed that some platforms allow you to triple jump, and some only allow you to double jump: was that by design?

My one wish is that spacebar was jump, and maybe "up" for slime instead of "down".

Epic game :D

Really cool mechanics!

Please do a HMTL build :(

Very well executed! Nice art, sounds, cool concept... A little more level variety and this game is 10.10

I love how you incorporated all the game ideas from the last few weeks! Dimitri, the bomb defusal, the snakes, the drunks... Thanks for making this :D

I won! I love the graphics, you never disappoint!

The movement feels good, the UI is easy to read. The health bars for the characters is a good touch, almost necessary in a game like this. The animations are crisp.

[SPOILERS]

It actually gets easier the longer you play, because of the enemies spawning from the flags that you are destroying. I was able to stack attack power, get the heal ability, and then I was golden. Once my attack could one-shot most of the enemies, I just ran around and killed the flags.

One thing: It would be nice if the upgrade selection screen could be done with keyboard - your gameplay controls require two hands on the keyboard, and switching to the mouse to click the upgrades, and then having to switch back quickly to keyboard controls killed me several times at the beginning. Or, you could have a little time delay before switching back to the gameplay to give the player some time to get set again.

Over all great game. You did a ton in the time you used. Glad to see you back again this week!

Fun little game!
