Jam
This is my 7th LowRezJam!! I always love working with such a low resolution - it helps to keep the scope small but it's always challenging to fit everything in such a tiny window!

I had a lot of fun working on this one and would love to keep working on it. There are some rogue-like mechanics and extra shop items I wanted to add to bulk out the experience, but I'm pleased with what I managed to achieve for the jam.

Super Soaker is so powerful I had to intentionally stop trying to see the game over screen, haha!

I love the gameplay loop, and I could see myself playing this a lot if the items were a bit more balanced and with more late-game challenges! Maybe unique ghosts that resist different items, steal items, stuff like that?
Love the art style and visual effects, perfect use of a limited color palette!

Whoa! I didn't expect anyone to get that far but I agree the super soaker is way overpowered (and not properly tested)!  I'd planned to add stronger ghosts so the later tools are more important but I ran out of time so the game isn't properly balanced.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it though and appreciate the feedback.  Love the thought of ghosts stealing your items, that's an awesome idea.

Really unique and cool style. I made my first farm too far away for my hose to reach, which was a bit silly. But it's fun, haha!

I’ll be honest: I had more fun farming than worrying about the ghosts. Would be cool to add more stuff to fight the ghosts. Maybe automatically? Like sentries or something? Also would be cool to able to purchase a clock to know when the sun is rising or setting.

Anyways, I played this game WAY longer than I intended. Farming is addictive.

Aah thanks for the feedback!

I absolutely planned for both plantable sentries that shoot water at ghost and a clock to display the time! I just didn't have much time to work on the game so unfortunately both of these were cut.  Good to hear they would have been welcome ideas though!

I'm glad you had fun!  Thanks for playing :)

This was a fun game, it felt quite polished as well!

Loved this! Such a fun little game, really nice art and colour palette. Will definitely come back and play again as I wasn't able to get all the upgrades the first time. Nice job!

The game feels like a neat combination of a farming game + a weird tower defense game. My poor little brain was confused a few times on the gird vs free aim vs auto hit difference between the different tools. Sometimes I felt like the shovel failed to auto swing at the enemeis, but otherwise you have a cool entry in your hands.

Graphically the game is gorgeous, we do have jam game audio levels sadly, as it started waay to loud. Enjoyed the 32 bit sprites as a fellow retro enjoyer. Well done!

It's so cool that you were able to do such a great game in such short time!

Very cool ! Loved the design choices, colors, readability. And of course the little water particules, pixel particules are always great
