・As a child, he was sold by his own father for just five silver coins.
・His father drinks alcohol from a monkey’s skull.
・His older brother, known only as The Power, is currently missing.

I'm a composer and guitarist with a big passion for thematic music. I grew up listening to concept albums and playing Legend of Zelda, Pokemon and various other Nintendo games. I've always wanted to make a soundtrack of thematic motif -driven music for games of a similar vein. A few years back, I made a collection of small, loopable tracks as an example portfolio, but I'd be willing to revisit or offer these pieces up for projects! You can take a listen here
I mainly focus on postrock, progressive metal, and mathrock kind of stuff as well, think Hades or Doom. If that's up your alley, you can check out that stuff here. I just released a new album today!
Really nice stuff, gave you a SC follow and an Itch Follow and playlisted and reposted some SC things of yours just now.

Hey guys, i started making music thinking we needed more Dnb/jungle in our video games, since every trend is cycling i feel like the 2000's ape escape and gran turismo sound aestethics is about time to comeBack.
That being said i made a few tracks ( started using a DAW 3 weeks ago) and i'm looking to get some feedbacks on where to improve.
My inspirations are a mix of ape escape and cult of the lamb.
Hope you enjoy it :

You can also use any of it for your games if you like for free, as long as you credit me.
Hey all! I’m new here and excited to keep digging through the list. I’ve got around 100 tracks on that account and many are mixes and may be sitting in my private folder so I’m not sure how much is visible. Releases and more on Spotify and live mixes on Youtube as well if you're into anything.
This project is mostly hard, industrial electronic mixes, though there are a few other genres mixed in. It’s my most active project but I do have some other genres floating around too.

This isn't a formal collab request, just a (far smaller in scale) fellow musician on Itch who's pleased to see another individual make the transition to this place. I remember last July when Lone Rabbit did OST Comp Jam #7 as my first competition on here (#8 is in progress so it's a time of introspection as I deliver my submission in the next day or two for that one).
Point is, simultaneously with working #7 i had to think about how to unpack my outside-Itch stuff onto this platform in the beginning so I remember that disgorging process, making the place look lived-in so to speak :).
So, salutations and welcome!
Gave you an itch follow, if you like what you see on my page(s), consider doing the same. Best wishes for future success on here.

I love making orchestral, ambient music, music for meditation and stuff like that.
I made a small Binaural Beats collection for meditation/sleep and a telegram bot for ease of access (@asdrealmbinauralbot) which is one of the few things i'm proud of, of all my old works.
Now i'm working on music for my d&d campaign and started uploading some on my bandcamp, and a second volume of binaural beats is in the works.
I'm looking for all kinds of musical collaborations!
Feel free to leave some feedback.
Edit: updated some info.
I have just listenned to some of your tracks (Breath, Imperial Palace, The light of Ongar), impressive ambient work, well done!
As a new composer, I don't know if it's ok to propose that, but I often find myself stucked without feedback. Would you mind if I send you a DM to exchange on both our tracks?

Hi this is ChowaEki, I am living in Japan. I have been creating music in Cubase for over 12 years, specializing in story-driven game soundtracks, especially Japanese-style visual novel (AVG) BGM. I focus on writing melodic, emotionally engaging music—the kind of themes that stay in a player’s memory and truly support the narrative. In addition to game music, I also compose and arrange theme songs, film scores, and cinematic tracks, tailoring each piece to match the emotional arc and storytelling needs of the project.

Thanks a lot 🔥
[EDIT]
Just followed you back 🤘🏻
Just a matter of picking album/soundtrack in the game type and maybe setting a minimum price if you think the subject matter is less than universal consumption like more explicit, i kind of on purpose did a pricing tier to make anything adult-ish several bucks yet at the same time having it on distrokid thru Spotify and the other platforms. that way folks know the -name- of the higher price one in the same album so theyre aware what keyword to search even if they never straight up buy-on-Itch directly
cool thanks for the followback, i just figure if we musicians make a web of followbacks we can slightly get more signal slowly
I'm listening your tracks on spotfy here, very cool because you range from some jazzy tracks like "You'll transform me Is always a hard Sell" to some very experimental (I guess, because of the constant rhytmn and time signature change) ones like "Oh that's really not good".
I didn't understand well the part you said "maybe setting a minimum price if you think the subject matter is less than universal consumption like more explicit, i kind of on purpose did a pricing tier to make anything adult-ish". You put a price tier because the genre of game isn't very popular, so it makes the style of composition more unique?

A lot of my current tracks lean toward fantasy RPG vibes, inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda, Knights of the Old Republic, RuneScape — but I’m definitely not limited to that style. I’m happy to write music tailored specifically to your project’s tone and gameplay needs.

I had a little gap between tasks today, so I went to a shop just to buy a pen.
Not a fancy reason. Just a pen.
It was one of those clear, cool wintar afternoons, and I realized I hadn’t walked around outside like that, without a purpose, for a long time. Long enough that just being free for an hour almost made me cry.
I don’t like talking about myself.
If I talk about being busy, it somehow sounds like bragging.
If I talk about work, people start imagining things I never meant to show.
Even talking about what kind of whiskey I like feels like I’m accidentally revealing my bank balance. It’s all exhausting.
Once words leave your mouth, you lose control of them.
People misunderstand. They add their own meaning.
Then you either have to explain yourself or get tired of being judged.
Both options are annoying, so I usually pick silence.
Even saying “I’m tired” can sound arrogant to the wrong person.
If the listener happens to be a guy with fragile pride, it turns into a weird competition or a quiet resentment.
Either way, I lose.
So yeah, I avoid opening up. It’s just less trouble.
People are also strangely casual about other people’s privacy.
They “sing” personal information as if it’s harmless.
Sometimes it feels less like carelessness and more like enjoying the feeling of “knowing something.”
That tiny sense of superiority.
I try not to hate people, so I also try not to give them material to work with.
I bought the pen at my favorite stationery shop and went straight to a café to test it.
It wrote beautifully.
The kind of smooth that sends a quiet shock of happiness up your spine.
For a second I almost jumped out of my chair like an idiot.
And then, strangely, I thought:
“I want to tell someone about this.”
That surprised me.
Wanting to share something this small.
And having a person you want to share it with.
That might be what trust feels like.
Or rest. Or something dangerously close to love.
There are people in this world I would never tell about buying a pen.
So why do I want to tell you?
Is it trust?
Is it dependence?
Is it just boredom pretending to be something deeper?
Or is it… love? That seems dramatic. Probably too dramatic.
I shook my head like I was trying to erase the thought.
If I ever get married, maybe it’ll be to someone who keeps making me want to talk about pen-level events forever.
And every anniversary I’ll probably say, “Thank you for listening to my pen stories,” like a weirdo.
Later, I sent the message.
“I went to a shop. Bought a pen. It writes really nicely.”
A completely pointless report.
And yet, a reply came back immediately.
That was enough.
Enough to make me think, yeah… I’m glad I told this person after all.
Enough to almost make me cry again.
I also wondered why I wanted to write this at all.
For readers. For strangers.
Trust, maybe. Rest, maybe.
A weaker, thinner version of love.
I’ll be 40 next year.
I live off small happiness.
Which probably means I can also be destroyed by small unhappiness. I know that very well.
People say congratulations. I say thank you.
I don’t know how long I’ll keep being called the same name, or living as the same version of myself.
I could quit everything anytime.
Still, I’m genuinely happy to get older. That feels like luck.
Life ends.
Laughing or crying, it ends the same way.
Wrinkles will increase. Hair will turn white. My sense of the present will fall behind. My legs will slow. My eyes will fade.
And one day, this body will quietly be done.
Before that happens,
how many more pen-level moments will I get?
And how many people will I meet who are willing to listen to those moments?
Thinking about that feels a little too loud, so
for now, maybe I’ll just drink that usual whiskey tonight.
That story too, I’d like to tell you.
It was Februry.

Hey all,
I spent 5 years in prison (2019-2024) and wrote music to occupy my time.
My crimes were church arsons, so yeah I was a black metal freak.
I used to be a drummer for black metal duo IGNI but more focused on solo stuff lately.
I released one album in 2024 that I wrote in prison under Azura called 'The Midden'.
It's completely influenced by Skyrim, as all my Azura music is.
Last year I released a indie-pop track Love Is Not Enough under artist name Normy.
And this year I'm working on my Necromancer! card game, which is what brought me to Itch.io.
I'd love to do more music but it's all so expensive to produce.
My 'Azura - The Midden' album is all instrumental and if anyone wants to use it for their dark/fantasy themed games then feel free to message me.
Chur!

I'll try to post more tracks and versions as I have a lot of old melodies lying around.
Stay safe out there!
it's just a matter of doing "upload a new project" in the interface on the upper right corner
then classifying it as "album or soundtracks"
and then doing a file upload similar to someone uploading a game.
and then once you tell it whether AI was involved (there's a little mandatory question)
you can save it as public instead of a draft
I've been on Itch from July 2024 as only a musician for 8 months until starting to also do games in March 2025 which was a slow process so my being only a musician effectively spanned more like 14 months before really coding hard.
Good to meet a fellow musician on here!
If you choose there are tons of music jams on here where submissions compete for ratings (for many of us, it's more for the socializing and networking but there are also those who actually make revenue at this).
Cheers!

Very kind of you! I'll give that a look as soon as I can.
Good point about the AI part, since they are chiptune conversions of acoustic tracks recorded a long time ago. I'll make a note of that.
Likewise! I've mostly played rock and indie acoustic stuff in the past (with and without a band), but I've always loved the indie game dev scene. So it would be cool to help someone out instead of the melodies "gathering dust".
I'm all for networking/socializing, I don't have any plans for revenue or that sort of thing. I'm happy with just sharing. Would be cool to hear some of it in a game project at some point.
Thanks :)
