It's such a unique puzzle type game! The tutorial initially was a bit confusing regarding the wiring part. Until I read the description saying you can disable existing wiring, I was stuck on a few doors. But the mechanic of deciding on which button toggles which door or device is very neat! And implemented very nicely too!

I absolutely adore the Dokibird character art! My favourite one is when she's just crouched and shaking her arms left and right. Adorable! The level design is spectacular too. It must have taken so much effort desigining the levels.

I felt that the auction part took a bit too long. And when you get hit by an enemy, you're downed for a bit too long too. And I did get stuck at the last level, as I couldn't get past the wired ceiling crawl space above the exit.

Overall, really fun game! The unique mechanic made me want to play more!

Neat game! The wiring mechanic reminds me of Gunpoint, and the player movement set feels very fluid. I would recommend adding "Coyote Time" to make the wall jumps easier. Good job!

Thanks! Gunpoint is exactly what our programmer drew inspiration from, actually.

This game has fun vibes but could use some polish. The platforming (to me) felt awkward and kind of like a generic template. The hacking system was extremely opaque and trying to parse the more complicated tutorial diagrams was comically (mildly) frustrating and so I didn't really see the "chain reactions" element, although I think I know what you were going for, maybe.  I know it's often theoretically more "elegant" to incorporate the tutorial part with the gameplay part, but I would have preferred some text boxes just flat-out telling me what I was supposed to do and what various parts of the level were.

It feels like your team had the concept and a bunch of ideas but didn't do much early-jam trimming. Believe me: I extremely sympathize, and I am more impressed by a game with ambition and promise than by a competent game doing nothing but what I've seen other games do before. I actually think a game with this premise, mixing platforming and "hacking" puzzle elements where you deal with enemies indirectly and then there's an auction house system for your loot, is really intriguing, and if you kept working on it, I'd be happy to come back and try it again. (Maybe if you're spotted by dragoons or a camera, it decreases your take from the auction because the goods are riskier to handle?)

One note is that there were a couple of ugly, scratchy audio things when first starting the game. I'm not sure what might be causing that, but wanted to mention that as something to look into.

The art and level design is fun, even with the placeholder elements, and major points for recruiting a composer instead of using stock tracks. The music ruled and really fit the vibe of the game and encouraged me to keep trying to work my way a little further into the tutorial level even with the rough edges of the platforming and tutorial diagrams. It's also very funny that you kinda leaned into things Dokibird is, let's say, not known for as a streamer (hacking knowledge, platforming, money management, being stealthy and sneaky without a gun in hand). I'm happy to see a game that takes the "thief" concept of Retro Doki and uses it for vibes and gameplay. It's an obvious choice (and, given the nature of a game jam, potentially a pragmatic one) to go "chain reaction, shooting, Bounty Hunter Doki" and I respect that you wanted to do something different.

I got stuck in the tutorial in the room with the first enemy since I would be stunned by the bullet and it would ricochet around the room and by the time the bullet despawned, the dragoon would just shoot another and stun me. I feel that I didn't really understand the difference between the openable wood doors and the security doors, which I still don't really understand how to open. Also, in the levels, the dragoon could potentially get knocked into weird areas by their own ricocheted bullets into areas where it would be impossible to progress. Also got some exceptions thrown at me, possibly having to do with hacking mode. Wall jumps were pretty painful to perform. Pretty cool idea for a heist game, but it could use some polish.

Thank you for the feedback! Some of the issues you mention I was already aware of, I kind of ran out of time and brain power to fix the wall jump at the end of the jam. Funny enough I just happened to put out a patch a few minutes ago fixing the wall jump among other bugs; the issue with the bullets I hadn't thoguht off, I will look into it. Thank you so much for trying out the game!

Looks great, I like how the wall jump and climb make the gameplay feel more dynamic, and the hacking idea kinda like Watch Dogs is really cool >w<!

Some really good ideas on display here, but you've let your scope grow too big and got too many things going on. The hacking and linking mechanic is very interesting but poorly explained and visualized, the platforming is wonky, and the auction thing is just kinda there. It might have been better to polish one of those aspects.

Pretty neat game! I don’t really have any other feedback besides that. GG!

I love all of the work on the itch page! The pixel art is lovely, music is cool, and I love that you have a tutorial level. I did find the dragoons really hard to get past, but maybe I was doing something wrong. Haha. Nice work!
