would have been cool to see myself get into the mech and have seen what the point of the gun was   - I'm not sure where you're going with this idea, but I do know it is of the mining - twin stick shooter genre.  the mining was satisfying though - particularly in the sound design.

I love the sound design here wow

Had a visual bug with the screen size on windows, but whats here is amazing. really big fan of the mech and mole character, keep plugging away at this, ill want to play the full version!

Are you looking for any programmers or additional godot developers for this project?

Really solid start, I know you are busy with other projects but I would love to see more of this. I love the mole.

Developer

thank you! already working on it ;)

There's some neat stuff here, I'd love to see it as something like a full Motherload clone

He's a little mole! With a light on his helmet! And a mech to dig with! Oh man he's cute. I liked the checkered patterns, made me think of Sonic. I felt a little disappointed I wasn't breaking any rock into chunky kibbles, that's a big part of what makes digging games satisfying, but that might just be me! Really great work.

Developer

haha thank you! I'm currently expanding it, and some nice chunky breaking animations are definitely on the to do list :)

It's not a complete game yet but it clearly has a lot of promise.  The models are fantastic, everything thats there seems designed well and ready to be built upon.  Simple and clean in execution, would love to see this developed further!

THANK YOU. Already working on expanding it!

Good work!
This game is full of juice, so you can start from here to build something bigger and deeper, I love how you managed your sound effects, particles and visuals for a really tasty gamefeel. Your character is super cute and the mech improves the experience a lot.
I don't know if I didn't go too far, but I didn't found some kind of threat that could justify using of a gun.
You can expand this idea and find more mechanics to merge with what you have done to create a really cool and immersive experience. Don't forget to always surprise the players. Great job!

Developer

hhaha no you didn't miss anything; I ran out of time before I could add any kind of threat. Since the jam ended, I've continued to develop this and have added more guns, and I'm currently working on enemies.

thank you!

I got to just over $6000 before I stopped playing.

This was really cool and it felt very well made even though it’s obviously unfinished. I can already imagine how fun this would be with hazards and upgrades to spend your money on.

great work!

Quite some impressive features on this one :o

I really dig the the mount/dismount mechanic where you can use your mech at any time and go hunt for fuel on foot every once in a while, the lighting is also on point for the spellunking atmosphere, and it also doubles as a visual guide to help find where you parked your mech XD

No real issues there, just that it’s a shame you probably didn’t have time to make more for this, cause with some enemies and a few goals you’ve already got yourself a solid game base.

Well done ^^

thanks! yeahhh I wish I had more time, but I knew going in that I wasn't going to be able to use the entire dev window. I've continued to work on it since the jam ended so you'll definitely be seeing more soon!

Cool and no worries 2 weeks go by quite fast plus a jam has to stay fun so i think it’s expêcted that no one will be working 8h a day during the entire dev windows :p

I’ll have to check when you add post jam content then :)

I think your mech is really cute! I love the idea of using a mech as basically mining equipment. I would love to see your full concept fleshed out for this.

good lighting and camera. I liked the character controls and mech controls too.

I had a bug where after going forward for a while on foot, I tried to get back to my mech, and I fell off the floor, as it was no longer there.
