How does your game fit the theme?
Climbing the corporate world is a vicious circle. a circle is a loop. also the company is called intheloopco. Definitely a perfect fit.

Cool voice acting and art style!
The text box feels a little high and the UI felt a little clutter. I think it would be awesome if things slid on and off screen.
How did you manage the dialog? I'm curious, because it seems very hard to manage.
Thanks personman61!
The dialog was written using inky https://github.com/inkle/inky It's a pretty cool tool for writing dialog but it does have its annoying quirks and bugs.
Very cute game! I loved the satisfaction of watching all my annoying coworkers get fired lol
Very entertaining and really fun interpretation of the theme! The narrative really sucks you in, it's kind of amazing how you made so many memorable characters in such a short runtime. I love the final choice because each option re-contextualizes Henry's actions up to that point. It was mentioned in another comment but the choice of art-style is genius. Also huge props for having voice acting!
Very amusing. I love the art style! The story went in a bit of a different direction than I expected.
This was a very good game! I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to get rid of Joyce too, so the ending made me very happy haha. The artwork is super charming as well.
Very satisfying slowly taking down everyone 👌
What an amazing game! Outstanding art, lovabl-… hateable characters and a very funny commentary on the corporate tech world, what more could you ask? I really loved the little loop of getting all those terrible people fired, it was immensely satisfying (I also didn’t expect the moral choice at the end, very cool!): fun, entertaining and the perfect length. The writing was also very good, congratulations!
The only problem I run in with was that after closing a dialogue box the mouse was a bit constrained for a second, which felt strange: nothing game-breaking, I’m sure a little fix will do it. That being said you have done a really great job, keep it up! :)
Super happy you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for sharing feedback. Yes so sorry about the janky mouse, if we do any more work on this project in the future (would like to!) we'll fix that for sure.
Good game. I liked it
Wasn't expecting this to be quite so up-to-date with current events, I choked a bit on my tea. Thankfully I didn't check out the screenshots beforehand or it would've spoiled the reveal! Love the premise and how each coworker brings about their own downfall, and the art style's got that quasi-corporate cartoon vibe that's just perfect.
Hahaha oh yeah right maybe I should remove the spoiler from the screenshots 😂
Glad the nod to corporate illustrations came through! Thanks for playing!!
I love this game so much! Stayed around til' the very end! Love the art style and the story, and nice voice acting too! There were some bugs like after you finish a conversation your camera gets rotated a bit, or sometimes even teleported a bit. It would be nice if during each mission it also told you exactly what to do in the current step like: "Fire Lisa - Talk to Jim". Overall, I've enjoyed every part of the like 30 minutes I've spent playing, amazing work! :D
Sorry about the janky mouse/camera issue, we realised too late so just left it like that. Thanks so much for playing, really happy you enjoyed it and played through to the end!
This is such an amazing experience. This feels so well made for just 4 days.
The art style is extremely well. Everything fits together perfectly. The story itself is really interesting as well. Loved the description of a toxic work environment. Each of the employees are made to be dislikeable so getting rid of them makes it enjoyable lol.
In addition, I really liked how the game fits the theme in so many different ways---the working cycle, climbing the circle of corporate world, the company's name, the company's configuration being a loop... the theme was taken and expanded so well. Definitely one of my favorites in the jam.
Great job!
I really love the art style of this game. I think the story could be fun, too. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game because I once got stuck in a conversation that looped over and over again (even the bugs fit the game jam's topic, good job!).
My only critique is the controls that feel a bit clunky.
Oh im so sorry!! Do you remember which conversation it was that you got stuck in?
Also are you playing on an ultrawide monitor by any chance?
It was on day 2 with Glen (or so, I'm bad at remembering names, sorry) in the kitchen. The talk to button and dialog field overlapped, so continuing the conversation restarted it.
I was playing on a 16:9 4K monitor in full-screen mode.
Lame.. Sorry about that. That sucks.
The Art is so great!! And the talking sound effect and the story. Maybe you could add like a skip after you have read first time. Other than that great work!
Ahhh yeah we should have added a skip dialogue option seeing as they all repeat each day. Thanks for for playing and leaving feedback! Appreciate it <3
Really fun, at points too close to home! Appreciate get to hear the inner voice. The report writing gag is pretty good. Fun game
Oh no sorry it hit close to home 😭
Such a funny and unique game!
I enjoyed your art style and the characters, it is so cool that each of them has their own personality. It was also fun to do routine tasks, very relatable :D The story was captivating, I felt bad for Henry at first, but in the end I am not that sure that I should feel bad :D And it is such a relief that usually colleagues are not like they are in the game at all hahaha
I also liked that the office layout is a loop.
I probably wish that the dialogues didn't repeat when you talked to the characters the second time in one day (for example, Joyce told me not to be late for a meeting after I already got the quest to go home). And while I liked the quests, I think that would be even cooler if I could get some more insights and motivation to do something as a character — sometimes as I was to eliminate some of my colleagues I was not 100% sure why I am doing it, it was all a bit of a sudden :)
All in all, I had lots of fun! And the concert joke in the end made me giggle :)
Thanks for sending such detailed feedback!
We agree that more player motivation, dialogue options and quests would be great. More gameplay in general! We had lots of ideas but time constraints pushed us into making it a more linear, simpler experience. If we work on it more we'll probably add some branching dialogue options and more mini-games. Thanks for playing! Appreciate it a lot.
Cool game! Although I feel like it's only really relateable for people who work in offices lol.
