I feel that the map prompts are not very clear. Sometimes I don't know where there will be new maps, and sometimes I don't know where there won't be any.

The sound effects are quite good.

Thanks for playing! That is true... I didnt add any indication of multiple rooms. But to minimize the problem, i have added a room layout in the description. I will add indications to rooms in a post-jam update

Wow so cool! Extremely well done for your first game jam!

Really smart and creative approach to the theme!

Well done! :D

Played and loved it! Such a neat concept. I’ve got Doppelchain up too—thoughts welcome. Keep it up!

Well made mechanics, with more polishing could become something of "Baba is You"

Thanks for Playing! Thanks for comparing my game with a game much better lol

Congrats on your first jam, I really enjoyed your game. Clever design, incentive to try again despite failing a bunch of times.

The audio gets a little annoying, since there are only 2-3 sfx (move and power-ups basically?), maybe it'd be worth finding more satisfying sounds to the ear :D

Well done though, I'd play more levels of your game and have fun.

Congratulations on finishing your first jam. I promise you there are great adventures yet to come. Enjoy it.

The game idea is simple yet clean, to say the least. Though the game is short, I really enjoyed discovering the rooms and calculating the optimal solution to keep my steps in check. Very cool entry.

One thing I’d love to see in the game is a retry button. Sometimes I mess up so badly that I know there’s no point in continuing, and that’s where a retry button would come in handy. Also, in case a glitch happens, it’s helpful to have that option too. Good job.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Thats a good idea! I will add that as a post-jam update.

Despite how basic it looks, this was quite enjoyable! My only critique would be to add little arrows or something similar to show which directions have rooms. Or adding walls maybe. Adding the map did help fix this to a degree though

By the way, thanks for playing my game!

This was surprisingly a really fun concept, a good example of how to make the best out of very minimal graphics. Great job!

Nice idea! I think the map was necessary, mainly because there is no real difference between a wall and an other room. Also adding a little pitch variation to the movement sound could go a long way to avoid repetition. But an overall great entry, good job!

Fun and enjoyable

Nice idea but I moved my character until I was on top of a block with the name "goal" on it and the game did nothing as if I hadn't just stepped on a block with the name "goal"

This makes the game impossible to continue.

Developer

Thansk for Playing. There are arrows next to that Goal image showing that the goal is above

Developer

I didnt really make any indication of other rooms but there is a map in the description that would help

simple and fun

Fun! I had a really nice time with this, short but sweet. Original idea, good layout. Hope to see you work on this more!

Submitted

Actually really fun to figure out. It would be nice if there was an indication of where you can move to ingame instead of the map would ofc be nice but time gets away from you in these I know lmao, but yeah a fun game

Submitted

This was fun. Liked to so more of this. Maybe some more levels.

Simple but clever puzzle game. It was fun trying to plan the best route with minimal steps. Nice work! Some arrows in the game or something to show what areas can be travelled to so the map in the description isn't needed would be a nice post-jam update.

Developer

Thanks for playing ! I was going to add some light coming out of the rooms, but then didnt have time... and the map was added later as a lot of people had problems with finding rooms.. i will update that after the jam

Submitted

Clever puzzle game! The map provided was definitely helpful. The simplicity lended it self to the gameplay--just focus on the route! I liked the sound effects you chose as well. Nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for Playing! I heard that the sound effects were grading and loud so good to know that you liked them :)

Submitted

I liked the simple but clever idea! Well implemented and minimalistic!

I  complete it on the 9th attempt, when I had already accurately laid out the route.

If it wasn't for the map in the description of the game, it would have taken a lot longer.

Developer

Yeah, I added the map afterwards when everyone was saying they didnt know there were rooms

Ehhh, I guess it was tough for me. I miscalculated a bit, hehe. Some kind of guide is required for the player. But solid game. Keep it up. Would appreciate the effort if you  could rate my game too.
