How does your game fit the theme?
You are trapped in a time loop, adding one piece to your spaceship with each cycle. Your goal is to reach the moon and break free from the loop. (Bonus: The ship loops from the left and right sides of the screen!)

Building your spaceship feels very satisfying. The parts fit together nicely, and the resulting ship looked nice. Also cool to see a pixel art game that sticks with a resolution restriction.

Pretty simple, but nicely executed concept. The arts is again very simple, yet thanks to the art direction, looks quite good. The audio is simple but I like it.

The gameplay was really slow at first. For such an easy game ( for like 95% of it), being too slow is just too boring. Like others have said, the best way to play is just kill your ships as much as possible, before you get to the good stuffs. Which is exactly what I did, in my first run, then I just rided it out in the second run.

creative concept, I found the gameplay a bit slow, and there wasn't any good reason not to kill yourself as fast as possible initially.

Great game! I really like your concept of building a small ship and adding pieces to it as you loop. My only suggestion is to change the color of the hearts so it's easier to see how many you have left. A player would like to glance at his/her HP and see it. Two dark colors for both remaining and damaged hearts doesn't allow for that. Overall a very fun game, good job!

I liked that the improvements affect not only the ship's behavior but also its appearance. Good job.

I really like how the enemies can collide with each other. The art is really good and I really enjoyed dodging everything, especially how chaotic it got at the end!

Really great game! Loved the building mechanic!

Ah, reading the comments I realize I wasn't supposed to last so long (it grew a little bit boring). I love the art style and game concept and I think with some tweaks the game loop can feel tighter.

Fun mechanic and fantastic art style !

Very fun concept! Reminds me a bit of Bad Piggies. At first I was confused as to why I was so slow, then when I crashed myself on purpose I discovered how you can add upgrades. This is a cool idea, but also made me cheese the game. You can just crash yourself multiple times on purpose to instantly win the game in one go. Reading the comments, Profour has a very nice suggestion to this issue.

I loved the pixel art and the music suits the game very well!

On my first flight, i thought I was supposed to make it all the way, and i probably could have with just the starting gear, but it was so incredibly slow. So I tried blowing up and was rewarded with gear. So I rapidly blew myself up several times to get tons of +agi.

I think one small tweak I would suggest on the loop is that rather than rewarding the player anytime they die, make sure they make it past certain checkpoint distances and they can get more gear. Or if they kill an alien ship etc.

I did get to the ending and laughed at the little twist ending.

Overall nice work!

Great concept, plays fun! But cycle that rewards you only for losing is a bit strange - maybe should improve rewards for further distances and verbalize it in game

Clean art! The game loop idea it's very creative, although you can cheese it a bit suiciding right away to get the upgrades, solid game!!
