Insane game guys o_o
I have no feedback, it was just so fun and polished, had a great time, thank you!

This feels so nostalgic. I had some issues with the first time a shader is rendered (like the meat explosions). I tried to see if downloading it helped but no dice. I know this is part of the Godot experience though. You can try and have all those effects, particles and shaders render behind a viewport in your cutscene to have it prebaked.

Otherwise amazing. Crunchy, and I love the amount of voicelines. This was really fun.

Yea we considered having the particles in the menu screen, but then the game would lag in the beginning and that felt weird too. Maybe we could have had a loading screen type of thing for it though.

Okay the polish is huge, you made cutscenes, up to the crazy cover art!

Very cool stuff, but I got frustrated by the controls (I played on web) : jumps are shorts, and it always seems to lag a bit when punching through enemies (and you can't see anything when doing that).

Congrats!

YOU WIZARDS!

Looking forward to Metal Man 4: Meat Over Magne-

wait...

Oh right, there's a bug where when you hit an enemy for the first time after launching the game, the freeze frame is WAAAAAYY too long.

Also you can fall out of bounds. But that's fine since attacking off the map still ends the game lol.

This game is ridiculously charming lmao. I am 16, I didn't have the chance to play much ps2 or Nintendo 64, but even still, this gives me an extremely distinct vibe.

the attack (and moving in general) is actually ridiculously juicy. Makes me think I would LOVE ultrakill if I finally got around to playing it.

The voice lines lmao. I don't even have to say anything for that, you know those are awesome.

(By the way, I noticed the shameless plug)

I hope to see this show up in the GMTK winners!

PS. I thought that the "loop" part was in perpetually making sequels lmao. That's how strong of a vibe I'm getting.

The ONLY thing I found myself wishing, was that the death sequence maybe had a couple extra possible voice lines, and the ending sequence when you get to the top has another ending. Also maybe something happens if you actually stay in the cage.

But I might as well be saying that the only problem with this game is that there isn't more of it. ... maybe reruns and reboots have merit...

I've only ever played  the demo for ultrakill but it's in a whole other league of its own. Definitely go check it out!

Really cool voice overs and saturday morning cartoon story

Something about the controls didn't fully gel with me - I wanted to just punch people. I feel this what metal man should do >:)

So cool

Really cool entry, I loved the worldbuilding though the gameplay was a bit less enjoyable because of all the sliding. I really loved the voiceovers, really added to the experience and the cutscenes were spectacular!

The web version ran a little slowly for me. (Edit: the PC version worked well).

"Not like thiiiiis!" haha great voice acting. There's so much to like about this game, but the art really stands out to me. I feel like I'm back in the 90s. Congrats!

AMAZING

I enjoyed this game a lot! The story feels like a parody of those old short films or cartoon hero /superhero shorts that just cranks up the absurdity and wackiness to 100. The voice acting is also great in an absurd way, with the enemies randomly saying something to the player that is not the generic I'm going to defeat you. An example is hearing an enemy say that he loves Metal Man, or that he loves meat, or something else entirely. The gameplay and movement were also well done, as your punch also acts as a dash that you can chain if you line up your targets correctly, leading to interesting options for the player of whether they should take the riskier or safer route. Overall, excellent job on Metal Man 3 and creating an engaging risk and reward gameplay loop!

Really amazing game!

I love the audio!

Absolutely stellar game! Loved the setup and characters, and the gameplay was solid. Thought the default mouse sensitivity was a bit low, but that's really nitpicking :) Can't wait for Meat Over Magnets!!
