How does your game fit the theme?
Thematically, you are Draftula dying and coming back to life every 100 years as you try to escape your loop of Rebirth and Defeat. Gameplay wise, the loop is that you continuously try to build a castle as high as you can. Between runs you get currency to buy more rooms.

Awesome job! Really fun strategy concept I enjoyed it a lot. I think it just needs a bigger long-term goal to chase, and it would be super addictive. Keep going, I’m excited to see what you add next! ❤

Great work! this is a neat idea for a strategy game and I had a lot of fun with it. I think the only thing it's lacking right now is a long term goal to shoot for. I could play this for hours if I was building towards something. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing updates :D

Your average rank is #19 in GMTK 2025! Congrats!

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with "Mark" that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.

Congrats on getting #1 in Enjoyment! Really cool game, I had a blast despite a few graphical hiccups here and there. Well done

This has been one of my favorites so far. Easy to understand, simple rules, and a surprising amount of content. Really good job with that. I particularly enjoyed the style and theme. I felt I ran out of coins pretty quickly, but I managed  to get to the win condition (nice mech) fairly quickly, so I guess it is balanced fine for a gamejam game? Really smart to have the skip feature for that, though. There's some neat game-design here!

This was fantastic! I got softlocked on my first run by placing the throne room out of bounds, but I loved it so much I played it back again and got the good ending. I really like the monster rooms that are good when you place them, but bad to actually have on your tower. Skipping is also a cool mechanic, because there's no cost to it at first glance, but once you unlock the ability to build up infinitely, you'll want to have as many blocks as possible so you don't want to skip them away. Really fun game!

Amazing work! One of the better games I've played this jam for sure, I think you found a fun mechanic and had enough variety to keep it building and keep me coming back for another. I think tweaking the room selection to make it more of an actual decision the player has to make (I basically always had enough gems to buy all the rooms) would elevate the strategic elements of the game. Fantastic art and sound as well, in terms of aesthetics and gameplay this is an all around great job!

Very fun idea! I enjoyed experimenting with the different types of rooms, and how at the end of each loop my architecture became noticeably more desperate as I tried to reach just a little bit higher

THIS IS SO FUN. I love the way that the rooms balance each other out with their features, and the space and resource management makes it super fun and also makes replayability that much better! Not to mention that the excellent pixel graphics and sound heighten the experience! I also love the way that you wove the story into the game mechanics by slowly unraveling the lore bit by bit. Fantastic work!

This was so much fun! A fun take on the Blue Prince-esque format.

Just gave it a shot and had a fun time with it. The concept of building a castle is cool and I think in the case the retro art style fits well. Castlevania vibes :)

Loved it! Art and concept are great! Impressive for a jam game!

What an absolute gem of a game! Fun and well-presented, no real notes at all: it does exactly what it set out to do, and it does it well.

P.S. Love the mech, what a great spindly arm!
