I just wanted to clarify that we don’t have the ability to change or control rankings. The results are based entirely on ratings from participants, who usually rate games based on their enjoyment and overall experience.

I understand it can be disappointing to put a lot of effort into something and not get the results you hoped for. That said, it’s a normal part of the learning process  not everything we create will connect with everyone, and that’s okay.

My advice would be to keep developing your skills, keep creating, and focus on making games you enjoy while also learning what players like. You’re improving with every project you finish.

And most importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself this is just a game jam, and there will be plenty more opportunities ahead.

yes That is true even if they got 1st in overall the judges are the ones deciding who are the winnners but they did good GOOD JOB GUYS

they got 3rd place, in this game jam only the judges choose the winners among the top 15  places that got rated by the community. Why would lie about the prizes LOL

the game is fun like tower defence which  made it cool but I wish if there were a skip buttons for  the intro or the monsters never spawn sooo close to me overall great job mate
