because you are required to be transparent in this game jam. If you make the game with AI you need to let us know. If someone is lying about it and gets caught they are banned from our jam.

That's an interesting point of view. I doubt a game made purely by AI will reach the top 15 anyway. It probably in many cases lacks intention and purpose. Games made with intention are more likely to connect with the people rating the games.. Perhaps I am wrong.. We will see if a purely AI made game gets to the top 15

I just wanted to clarify that we don’t have the ability to change or control rankings. The results are based entirely on ratings from participants, who usually rate games based on their enjoyment and overall experience.

I understand it can be disappointing to put a lot of effort into something and not get the results you hoped for. That said, it’s a normal part of the learning process  not everything we create will connect with everyone, and that’s okay.

My advice would be to keep developing your skills, keep creating, and focus on making games you enjoy while also learning what players like. You’re improving with every project you finish.

And most importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself this is just a game jam, and there will be plenty more opportunities ahead.
