How does your game fit the theme?
Everything loops in Sloop! You swing in a loop on a lasso, you throw boomerangs in loops, and you ride looping whirlpools. Sloop is built with loops in its DNA!

Fantastic game! I really like the lasso mechanic, it's very satisfying once you get the hang of it. The boomerang throwing is rather difficult but I still like it. There's a level (I think the 2nd last one with 8 targets & 2 whirlpools) where you can abuse the boomerangs near infinite range & just lasso around one point & hit all 8 targets around the map without having to sail/navigate around too much. So maybe you'd wanna limit the boomerangs range for levels like that so they're not cheesed.
Thanks for playing! There were a couple things like the shot range and like not resetting targets on death that I think would be different in a full release once the difficulty curve could be more smoothed out, but for the jam we left that way because I became concerned that the game would be overly punishing. I figured if there were some cheese strats, it might help a few less people crash out and quit mid run haha
Great artwork, there were similar ideas with space themed, but ship theme this also works well and the game play is also unique. Nice done!
creativity is 100%. and Art is amazing. I really love to see this in google play or steam. good job
Super cool idea! I never really got the hang of the boomerang though, it was kind of easier just to drive the ship into the targets and respawn... It would be cool to add some sort of wind element to make drifting more extreme!
Great work ! At first I got quite some difficulty to use the controler but then when you start to have a good flow it's very enjoyable =)
The visuals are absolutely stunning and I love how you guys interpreted the theme! Hoping for more levels :]
The lassoing is easily my favorite part (along ith the visuals!) I hope you build on it a little more!
Creative lasso mechanic that has a lot of potential! I just wish the level design didnt allow this mechanic to be skipped so often. The last levels can get pretty hard but it was fun regardless 👍

Most Creative game I ever seen in this jam I guess! Nice artwork btw!
That's so kind. Thank you!!
Main mechanic is really fun but isn't used enough. Controls also aren't very clean or easy to use. Other than that its pretty fun! Nicely done!
You’ll feel it once you’re in the flow.
You have entered sloop state
A difficult game, but I liked it enough to finish (that last level took a long time). Thanks for keeping the targets activated even after restart, it'd probably get pretty annoying to go for them every time because of the controls. I wish there were more levels focused on the main mechanic, even if they were simple
I really liked the game’s concept and art style, but the ship’s movement felt inconsistent and the controls could be smoother love it tho <3
Great art and music and a brilliant concept. Keyboard controls are a bit wonky but otherwise, great game.
Love the lasso and wished that you'd focus more on just that instead of trying to add in more looping mechanics than needed. Really liked that you added in some nice tutorial levels to get ready for the real levels.
The idea is great, however the final levels get so big, the ship is so zoomed out and the width of the passage so thin that it feels extremely difficult to beat. Great game otherwise!
I am so incredibly terrible at video games. But I kept trying because of how much I enjoyed the sheer charm of it all :)
I like the idea but I found movement to be quite tricky.
Love the art style! If you have a moment, we'd love for you to check out our team's project too. It's called "round-and-wound" , hope you enjoy it! --> https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780863
Looks and sounds really cool, feels good to play too!
