I'm so glad!

really good shout on the boot splash. This is my first full Godot game so I appreciate the tip!

hey thank you! I think some of the difficulty has come as a tad of a surprise to us haha. I think we underestimated how much playing your own game makes you good at it and how hard it would end up being for new comers that haven’t been play testing it for like 40-50 hours. I am glad you enjoyed it! I’ll try to play through your game tonight!

thank you!

I’ll give it a look tonight

was very fun to play. Thanks for popping in and sharing it!

Very fun. Closest thing I've seen to our game (though its very very different). Really liked the art especially. Felt like a very hungry caterpillar book :)

Have come back to try this a number of times since the first. Just incredible. I really think this could live as a switch/steam game with like 5 more shop items and a couple more enemies (I'd buy it as-is). Really special. A lock for the round up vid.

I really like the mouse jump. Props for Kenney reps!

I really appreciate it! I’ll definitely try it out

thanks for playing!

if you’re having trouble with the lasso, try holding it out wayyyyy early and hitting the hooks with the middle of the rope. I think we should have telegraphed better that any part of the rope works.

Thanks for playing! There were a couple things like the shot range and like not resetting targets on death that I think would be different in a full release once the difficulty curve could be more smoothed out, but for the jam we left that way because I became concerned that the game would be overly punishing. I figured if there were some cheese strats, it might help a few less people crash out and quit mid run haha

Feels so nice to go fast. I really enjoyed this one. Easy for a skateboard game to feel over technical, this felt very smooth. Good jam game!

Reminds me of Yoshi's Island in the best way. The return portals are very clever and the runtime is *just* long enough. Really enjoyed this one!

I really love a good puzzle platformer, especially one that looks and sounds this good!

Sniped myself with a proton cannon. Would do it again.

Actually really like the design and how the weapons are an advantage & a danger. I'd play this in a full release

Big numbers go burrr. Lore brought a tear to my eye. Please feed my son.

I like the branching paths. The music is spooky in just the right way. Really great work

I really liked this a lot! Very smooth movement. I'll send it around. Good to see some GameMaker Studio representation!

I really liked this. I thought a circuit type game would be cool but I could not, for the life of me, figure out an idea for one. This really rocked. Great job!

That's so kind. Thank you!!

You have entered sloop state

really glad you enjoyed it!

We waffled on it. They really should reset but I didn't want the levels to feel too punishing for anyone struggling

Haha the crash animation was the last thing we added just before the final upload

thank you!!

glad to hear it!

yeah our artist and composer were on one all weekend

I’d check if hardware acceleration is on in your browser. We found if it isn’t, the game runs kinda slow because of the dynamic water shader. Could fix the lag for you

Yeah that's what the little dots around the boat are mostly there for but I think I wasn't considering screen sizes for them when setting them up. Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

haha I’m so glad!

thank you! Our artist and composer worked really hard!

thank you!

yeah it was a lot. I think we put in 70 hours over the time. Not a ton of sleep

haha yeah leaving progress across  death was hotly debated. Glad you liked it!

This happened to a buddy of mine in detroit once

Cool game but it leaves me wondering things like "how can you be sure this is replayable?" and "where are the rogue-like elements" :/

The hand-drawn stuff here is A1

Lots of work obviously went into this. I really enjoy the item physics
