Community ratings for entries that don't meet the criteria

I’ve downloaded one of the entries, and it exceeds the entry limit by many pages. I will personally ignore it and move on, but I wanted to see what others are doing in this situation.

Also, I’ve changed Thunder Speakers of Buzhou to PWYW for the rating period. Cheers

I've been doing the same thing.

Doing 8 A6 pages is allowed, so there are definitely some legal entries around with more than 2/4 pages

Yeah, I’m looking at one that is 20 pages long, pretty sure its not an a6. I’ll keep an eye out though. Do love me a pocket mod!

Next year I’ll do a 300 page module in A12

(technically this would be 256 A12 pages (or 512 pages two-sided), I think, to fit 'single A4' requirement?)

Wow my guess was pretty close!

It was, and it was also very funny.

I've encountered a couple that are four 8.5x11/A4 pages, and it seems like there was some honest confusion about page size and count. I've just been moving on without rating too.

I wonder if ignoring these entries could skew their ratings (like, if one super nice person is giving 5s across the board, could they leap up in the rankings?). It probably won't matter enough in the long run anyway, but it crossed my mind. Maybe a 1 star for layout or something would be appropriate...

I have been rating as many entries as possible and have noticed a stark divide.

Of the 232 submissions, a large number have fewer than four votes each, despite most of them meeting the jam's criteria. While some entries are behind paywalls, the majority are accessible but seem to be overlooked. I encourage everyone to explore the entries with fewer ratings to ensure more creators get the feedback they deserve.

If I’m being honest, I sort by Most Karma and rate from the top. That way those who are doing active rating are getting their return.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I’ll start doing the same!
