Been wanting to see someone do a sokoban with conveyor belts. Getting it done in 4 days is very impressive.
Genuinely really well done on the level design. I truly enjoyed playing these puzzles! I managed to complete the entire game (the last puzzle was really hard though).
The biggest grip I have with the game is the long downtime between taking actions. In puzzles games you dont want to spend too much time executing an idea or waiting for a conveyer belt. Some easy solutions would be to cut out any unnecessary parts, like the wavy path in the final level.
Overall though, great entry!
freakin cool game!
the music rocks

Nice game, especially that last puzzle. I had some issues with it but they have all been addressed in other comments
Great game! I killed too many ducks though 😭
As a fan of sakoban games, i can proudly say it's a very solid entry! Some of the levels really kept me sitting there thinking for a couple of minutes, good job ;)
I'm kinda bad at this, but it's a fun solid game nontheless. The only issue I had was the lack of speed-up when finishing a puzzle and the lack of sound effects

This was a great game, from mechanics, level design and art style. I enjoyed all of it. Sadly there was no music or sfx. Good job
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Strange that there was no music or sound effects on your playthrough. I created music for the jam and used sfx for the door opening and the conveyor belt. I still hear them while playing.
Could it be that your browser was muted?
The duck is cute, but what is the player supposed to be?
Thank you for playing!
The player is a "foxduck" created through an experiment, now trying to save their former self from becoming this abomination. The idea was inspired from the movie "Mars Attacks", where a woman's head is switched with that of a chihuahua.
just googled it and the chihuahua woman is so cursed 💀
I like the game mechanics and levels. The last one is a good challenge. I like the art, although the narrative it is supposed to convey is a bit strange. I thought the mutant duck was a fox, and puzzles can be solved while pushing the duck into holes which is NOT saving it. The holes were convenient for the way I solved the puzzles, but I'm not sure if they were intended to be used as a teleporter back to the start after getting stuck in a room.
Thank you for playing!
The holes are indeed intended to be used as a teleporter.
For the narrative: My idea was that you play as a duck who was transformed into a "foxduck" in an experiment and is now looping back through time to escape that future. Falling into holes doesn't mean death. Instead, it sends you back to your initial position, continuing the time loop.
Good game. Some of the levels are pretty clever but the difficulty curve is kinda weird.
I wish there was a fast forward button too
Thank you for playing!
The fast forward button is a good idea and would be easy to implement. I'll look into it.
I suck at these kinds of games so I couldn’t finish it, but this is a neat idea! The loop theme is a bit of a stretch, but the standalone idea of a conveyor belt/factory themed Sokoban game is pretty cool.
There’s a bug where sometimes you walk onto the conveyor belt you’re trying to push. Might be a race condition? Also if the duck gets pushed into a crate by a conveyor, and then you push the conveyor, the duck seems to get stuck on the crate and you can’t push it.
Thank you for playing!
My initial idea for the "Loop" theme was that a unit would always respawn at its starting position and never truly die. In the final game, I kept this concept in the later levels with the holes. (when you fall, you loop back to your initial position) The story loop theme came up, when i searched for a player character and created my foxduck abomination :D
I didn’t encounter the bug where you can walk onto the conveyor belt you're pushing during testing. Thanks for reporting it! I’ll look into it.
Some nice ideas. The last puzzle was solid. It can be a bit slow waiting for the duckie though, and there seems to be a glitch that lets you go inside of things you push.
Thanks for the feedback!
The logic for pushing works like this: when you push an object, you move together with it. If you push the conveyer belt while the duck is on it, you're essentially pushing two objects at once. It seems there are some edge cases where it looks like the duck is on the belt your pushing, but it's still registered at the belt before and the player and duck move to the same position. I'll look into it.
One thing I noticed was that generally, if you just hold the direction and push a belt twice, you clip into the belt. Perhaps your movement processes before the game processes that the belt has moved to the destination tile.
Nice little sokoban game.
Thank you for playing!
Nice little puzzlegame and nice art! I think the duck and the abomination both our cute so that makes the game more of a moral dilemma! I wish there was some way to speed up the time once you put the solution in place. Overall, great submission!
Thanks for the Feedback!
A speedup button is a great idea to avoid to much downtime.
