The overall presentation and story, as many have mentioned, is great and the sound design with a random chance for whispers gave me the creeps.
Yet I think the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired, especially with the lack of help players get while navigating through the world. Like, I get stuck every second because I don't know where to go. Either I'm not the smartest tool in the shed, or I skipped something, but I needed half an hour to figure out you had to push the table and then jump from the window. Once that was done I was stuck again lol. Also having to spam to get rid of enemies hurts my hand

As much as this is a tech demo, I see potential in a premise of a house that just does whatever the hell it wants. Plus, having to squeeze information out of sussy guests its inviting can effectively build up tension for a cool mystery to be solved in the future.
I would write more but Knight already beat me to the punch
It may not be scary, but I actually adore the art direction of this game quite a lot. It's overall very trippy and dead like if Neon White and LSD: Dream Simulator had a baby.
The scuffed looping sound and inconsistent controls really add to the overall charm of the game, which is just funny to me in the best way.
My only gripes with this game are that random enemy encounters happen too often and no matter how much you look around there aren't enough healing items. Also, you can easily get lost since everything looks the same.
I might return to play it through, not gonna lie!
I really liked this game and its art-style. Fair, the gameplay was a little too simple, yet being able to destroy enemy projectiles and having upgrades really spiced it up. Good thing it didn't turn into a "I'm Sonic.exe, walk right to get jumpscared" type of game. The story being quite vague was the cherry on top of it all... The only issue being the gamejam theme not having been baked into it that much
I really like the art-style and premise, yet had trouble playing it. It's more of a personal skill issue, but I got lost multiple times, not knowing what to do exactly. The pinning mechanic got a little bugged as well, making me unable to place anything, had to click and drag around all over the place to make it detect my input.
But all in all it's good, terrifying and atmospheric. Totally recommended!
Also where is the sigma option?
I wouldn't touch that dog with a 10 ft pole
I really like the idea of Snake but you have to collide with your other end to progress. A timer would have made the game 2x better in my opinion. I know this sounds obvious but the game made me believe that I had to collide with my own body instead of the tail specifically first.
