We liked your game so much we made a short about it!

We love the core concept of placing things along the track and then immediately jumping in to fight your way through the train. It compresses down all the satisfaction of planning an elaborate heist, pulling it off and inevitably having to improvise, all within just a couple minutes which is impressive. We'd love to see you expand on this idea and see if you can deepen that even further!

Super fun silly game, loved the themeing around it, and the lasso slow mo is very fun to get right when you need it!

Thanks!
Congrats on having your game played on stream!

Reall cool game. The artstyle is great and the gameplay is also fun once you get how the game works. Also works great on linux btw. Minor detail, the game is a bit janky but this is probably just a restult of the tight time frame.

As a Linux user it matters to me ;)

Thank you for playing!

Shoot! We forgot to add an option to give this game 6 stars, boss!

Amazing work here! Everything here is perfect: the visuals, nice western music, the gameplay, heck, even the narrative! I'll definitely play this one again.

Keep up the good work, friends!

Amazing game, could play for hours!!

One small thing, if you grab the dynamite to early you kinda soft locked, because you cant pickup ammo.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

yeah we remembered we had to change that just before the deadline

we already prepared a post-jam patch that includes the ability to throw the dynamite through the window!

Thank you for playing :)

Very fun and thrilling. I especially liked 3d scenes and audio, it sets the atmosphere really well.

As for the planning part, it's a bit weird... It's difficult to figure out where the train will be at a certain time. But the clock with preview is a very clever idea.

With a smoother difficulty curve and more variety in terms of enemies and equipment, it would be even more fun!

Very cool game! That's one looong train, took me a while to clear it. I wish there was more strategy in placign the pick upables. I really enjoyed the art though, keep it up!

Amazing stuff to pull off in that short time. Great concept and execution!

Really fun! loved combining the elements of strategy and first person shooter, and the idea of a looping train goes great with the theme! I also loved the art and sound design, it fit the western theme well!

The hands look crisp. I wish I had hands.

horse approved 🐴👍

Agree with the other comments regarding the strategy elements, but the concept of having that stage and then having a train heist with my bandit buddies! Awesome!
Good to see some more first person games making it into the jam too

Really loved the atmosphere and the mix between planning and action. The transition into FPS mode caught me by surprise in a great way, and using the train loop as part of the strategy is super clever. It took me a little while to fully grasp the placement system, but once it clicked, it felt really rewarding. If anyone’s curious to try out another loop-based game from the jam, feel free to check out mine as well. Great work!

The art style and sound design are out of this world. A truly rootin' tootin' good time was had

The way the movement is like turn based is really cool

The tutorial is really great so I can forgive that the first level (and only one I ever saw) has 15 wagons a tunnel and a bridge. It's funny how to me it feels impossible but speedrunners could probably do it in half a round.

Developer(+1)

It's the only level so you didn't miss anything (and, as a side note, we didn't manage to complete it even once ourselves o_o )

Super creative! love the art and the audio! The mechanics can be a bit buggy / personally I found it a bit difficult to balance everything all at once but the premise is very cool and the whole experience is very well crafted. Could definetly see this being a full game on steam! :)

This is so cool. I noticed that the enemys are (just a bit) like my game.

This is super original. One of the best games of the jam
