The artwork is incredible, of course the gameplay could use more variety but I assume there wasnt enough time to finish all that, anyway good job on this game :)
Thank you. Indeed, can't exactly say that we arrived at the final shape of gameplay design early, so by the end there was little time for polish and nuancing.
Nice gameplay loop – it definitely started becoming harder as the number of rules increased, but in a good way! I did have some trouble figuring out how to open the guidebook at first, but once I did I have a good time. Well done :D
Ah yes, good point. Hopefully lowering the threshold will improve the first time experience with the book. I suppose a first time UI tip would be best. Thanks for appeariating and your feedback.
I love this "papers, please" setting but in the purgatory!!
Very creative game, reminded me of papers please in a way. Having the volume settings integrated into the speaker was very clever too. Great job!
Super clean game! My FAVORITE feature HAS to be adjusting the volume with a slider integrated with the speaker! Great game dude! :D
This is so cute! I love 'That's Not My Neighbour' and 'Papers, Please' so this was right up my alley :) I especially love the art, its so aesthetically pleasing to look at while playing. And the radio lever for the volume slider was genius, well done!
Very cool idea. I like the simplicity of it. It looks great and the audio is especially enjoyable.
Thanks for enjoying it! And totally agreed, I couldn't stop grooving to this tune while programming! xD
I liked the idea, but the tutorial could be a bit more clear. Very nice game!!
Glad you enjoyed! I can't say much to this other than agree ^^
I like the premise, but I think it would be more enjoyable if there was immediate consequences for getting one wrong.
Indeed, loss condition fell out of scope. Thanks for playing!
Hhahahahah, another game about anomalies :) The artwork is just great! And so is the sound design. Fun game man!
Thank you, for kind words!
I really liked how chaotic it was after a certain round but i think I would have found it more fun if there was something like a timer that pressured you into working faster and into making more mistakes. Also is the text glitching out after a certain round wanted?
It depends, what you mean by text glitching out, but potentially it's a bug and any extra info is appreciated. We had mixed opinions on time pressure amongst the team, but realistically, we hardly delivered the scope we had, let alone adding more x') Thanks for playing and taking your time to feedback.
in the web build in i think the fourth round you can only see three infos and the first line is always empty also during the fourth round the game gave me an error and i was unable to continue. But maybe it just has to do with my device i had problems with web games in the past
Yes, thank you for clarifying! The thing is.... there are only 3 rounds ^^; but we ran out of time to implement a proper end to the game.
A brief tutorial could help smooth the start, but overall a fun and memorable spin on the genre.
Indeed! Even an initiall popup, right? If not for critical bugs to be fixed in the extension time O7Z I'm glad it resonated with you either way..
Neat game! I liked the art style and interesting clues
Thank you for playing
It's like if Papers Please was set in the afterlife. I dig it. Great concept!
Thanks for appreciation!
This game immediately hit me with a paper that had my first name on it. Hooooly. At least I went to heaven.
Audio was a bit messed up, game started breaking really bad after the first day, and a tutorial would've been nice. Otherwise a fun spin on Papers Please.
Not intended, I assure ;)
Yes an sfx bug made it in, in the eleventh hour. And I could not make the book completely stable by the deadline. But if you found any other bugs, I would be interested to hear.
The theming is really cool and fun. The art is really nice too
Thanks! Credit goes to our artist who really gave it her her 110%.
A Paper's Please inspired game? Liked the artwork, could totally see it expanded
It is! We made a review of games of the sort even if we pivoted a couple of times on the way. Thanks for appreciation and seeing the potential. We were talking about giving this project some more love afterwards.
Cool game! some of the audio was messed up for me, but I like the design and artwork
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it! Yeah, unfortunately one sfx got looped in the hectic last-hour hotfix. qq
