Felt like I was in a museum!

The narrative behind the story is amazing. Pretty sure it's referencing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Caribbean_diving_disaster
And not only that, the tie to Greek mythology fits the game's story as well. Amazing! The graphics are amazing and reminds me of Inscryption. Hoping there's a tutorial for it out there because I would love to bring that sort of polish to my game as well. Great submission!

Twinning! Loved your implementation of the 2d top-down loop mechanic! The loops came out really smooth. The game crashed when I looped three enemies at once. I don't know repro steps otherwise

Thank you for the feedback! I just changed the viewport size to address this. I hope more people are able to help GLORBIT save the galaxy! 👽💖

Thank you! GLORBIT appreciates it! 👽💖

Thanks for playing Sebastian! Yes, I think the loop implementation requires more leniency. Right now I'm doing an intersection check on each point pair, but that sometimes leads to the player just barely creating a loop. Perhaps I can do a radius check on the last point to see if there's a neighbour n-points away to form a mercy-loop. Can't wait to see your next video! 👽💖

Thanks for the feedback! I've lowered the viewport size to address this. 👽

Appreciate you playing regardless, thank you 👽💖

Thanks for helping GLORBIT save the galaxy! 👽💖

Thank you Capy! Appreciate you playing our game 👽💖

When GLORBIT speeds up I wanted the player to feel a loss of control as they're zooming through space. But the feedback seems clear that there's polish needed. Thanks for playing! 👽💖

Honey wake up. Pokemon Ranger roguelike just dropped. Love what you did with the special effects on the lasso. I wish I did something similar on my game

I really like this game. Great art and game mechanic. I just wish there were more weapons to chuck around

I've seen a few idle/clicker games for this game jam and this brings back the active component... So it's an active idle game? Regardless. Found all the art assets to be really cute and customization options for the character were nice

I like the mechanic and the setting of a conveyor belt sushi place fits so well. I love all the pixel art animation in the game too.

Very clean UI and visuals. Enjoyed the snake-esque game but wish the obstacles had an indicator

Thumbnail and banner art are insanely good, and the gameplay is short and sweet. Missed opportunity to have the guy work at a sandwich shop and say "Someone order a knuckle sandwich?"

I thought I was a guy with a serving tray. Turns out I have a huge moustache lmao

Crazy that "the water cycle" is one of the first things I thought of when I saw the theme. I was skeptical of the mechanics at first but the obstacles manipulating your state was so thematic to the game. Loved it!

Loved the artwork! Wish it had a GameJam version where we could blast through some of the content faster. I wanted to see more plants!

The game only really gets going after 4 levels so stick around! Might be the cleanest looking game I've played this whole Jam

You weren't kidding about the load time!! Maybe lowering the poly-count on the adorable 3D meshes would help?WASD movement does not seem to work. I think you have the foundation for a fun puzzle game! Thanks for submitting

I like the interpretation of the theme. You loop around the corner to a different dimension. Weirdly it reminds me of the ice puzzles in Pokemon haha

Wasn't able to collect any of the butterflies, but still made it a fair ways up. Enjoyed it!

Loved seeing my score increase exponentially in Easy mode, but Hard mode lives up to its name

Thanks for the feedback. You're totally right, a dynamic camera speed would be better. I thought camera smoothing would emphasize GLORBIT's speed but it hinders gameplay at times. 👽🌠

Thanks for playing! GLORBIT appreciates! Pokemon Ranger was definitely one of the influences 👽💖

Thanks for playing! 👽

Thanks for trying out the game! Yeah the mechanics get getting used to but once you do you're ZOOMING around killing enemies, picking up powerups, and reaching the objective! 👽

(1 edit)

Thank you (and stuff). Your comment and rating means a lot! 👽

Thanks for playing! 👽

Not bad! I love the pixel art

GLORBIT loves you too! 👽💖

This game reminds me of "Kaizen : A Factory Story". The levels were a big complex for my taste.
Is the art original? It's great

Am I a jellyfish in a bubble?!?! The art was really cute. Tough game though!  I kept bumping my head on the bee

Cute art! But not entirely sure how to fling the bowls. There was no response to holding and pulling back

Actually a very solid game. I love the mechanic where you customize your own loop "weapons" and strategize which one to use in the battle. Would love a "Next opponent" so my choices can be more informed and a x2 speed for combats!! ALSO the art, graphics, and font were all very juicy.

It's like a tightly packed roguelite. Loved and art and music. Reminded me of GBA games!

Loved the art style. Protecting the plants reminded me of playing Plants vs Zombies haha

I like the idea. Perhaps this game would've been better suited as a top-down puzzle game.
