Love the art style and VA lines! They both really add to the game loop and theme itself. Great narrative and the in-game movement was responsive and made you feel fast, sort of like ultrakill!
Loved the 3d aspect and the puzzles in the game but as some others mentioned I had a real issue with the mouse sensitivity. Fwiw I was playing on browser so maybe that had some impact?
Also like some of the others mentioned I lost a few boxes inside the level structure, but luckily I wasn't too far along and could just restart the level! I suppose that is one of the trickier parts of 3d dev
Fun decision game with many loops! Those robbers must have been quite industrious to take my family fortune, develop nuclear weapons, and then wage a nuclear onslaught!
The amount of characters to look through is great! I had a little trouble understanding the hints, and probably could have use some more guesses, but overall pretty fun
This game rules! I love the way you approached the loop theme and though I felt a little bad that I had to shoot my past lives... progress must be made!
That is great to hear! Maybe something to add could be difficulty levels so that the easier level is where it's at now, but higher difficulty levels would push the game to end earlier.
I really liked this game! Haven't played Only Up or games like it so this was an introduction to the genre for me. Pretty tough! One issue I did seem to run into is that if I launched all the way to the right edge of the screen at a fast speed, I fell through obstacles all the way to the bottom and got stuck there. That didn't happen too often, though!
The balance/difficultly of the game is definitely needing some work; I didn't have enough time for tweaking it towards the end of the jam. Good point on the d-pad controls - I can make a quick update for those.
And I agree - when I was playing it getting a death-wheel of lasers going was pretty fun!
Took me a while to realize that the thing moving in the center was actually the planet's face (even though I read the explanation lol). Very cute artwork and a lot of fun
This was an amazing adventure, thank you for making it! I really enjoyed puzzle aspects but even more so the narrative/dialogue. I forgot all about Oorta on my first play-through so I gotta go back and check him back out!
