Nice art and concept! Definitely takes a little time to get the hang of, but you instantly know what you are supposed to do for sure. Dance the night away!
The Circle must hold!
Thank you ^-^
This is such a cool idea! I really love it! The only poblem is... I have no idea how to win hahaha, they keep entering the circle :s
Also the moon doesn't seem to be perfectly round unfortunately.
But this game really has potential it's really awesome! :)
Thank you so much!
Yeah we're already working on an update for after the jam with fixes like the moon not being round as well as an easier learning curve :D
Cool, can't wait to play it!
Will you also rate my game? ^^
I'll give it a whirl and rate - ofc :)
Superb atmosphere! The graphics really nails the feeling of a dark forest, and the music and sound choicewas really fitting. All of it reminded me of the movie Midsommer. I also liked the interperation of the theme - dancing in circles to repel the ghosts
While I appriciated the effort to explain the controls with, again, beautiful icons, it took me some time to understand them. I think what does my head in especially is the turning - I can't wrap my head around it. The timer for finishing the moves ends really quickly, and you lose real fast too - although you can restart quickly so it's not big deal
I wonder if giving simpler moves at first, maybe shorter ones that don't require turning, would be better way to introduce the concept of the game. You can always make the moves longer, more complicated, etc as the night goes on - I mean maybe you did, I suck at this so I didn't progress much :)
Great game, very well done!
Absolutely agreed :) I'm working on a difficulty scaling thing as we speak.
Thanks for playing and the detailed feedback!
I am in love with everything from the mechanics (was harder than I expected actually!) to the artstyle, esp the main menu (looks absolutely gorgeous!!) and the audio.
Much appreciated :D Such kind words ^-^
This game looks so beautiful and the fact that they're literally dancing the darkness or monsters away is such a romantic idea
Thank you so much! Really happy you like the idea ^-^
This is such a complete game!!! Well done, so much to have fun with.
Only thing I would suggest is to maybe add some signaling for the player to understan when to use the right click to change direction, is a biiit frustrating doing too many first attempts to calibrate.
Thanks so much!
You also make a very good point. I added it to my task list to do a slightly different color for steps in different spin directions :)
This game is fun! The characters are hard to control, but it makes it very satisfying to get the movement right! Great job!
Hell yeah! thank you :D
Beautiful! But am I clumsy or is this very hard??
Thank you :D Apparently it is quite hard xD
It is such a cool concept, I love the art style too.
Thank you so much!
Really cool concept and some very nice art! It does take a moment to understand the controls, so maybe i would have added a tutorial level where you can see what you need to do and how, and the game waits for you to do it (ofc it is a jam so no1 have time for tutorials)
Great game!
Absolutely agreed. I'd love to ease in a bit better. Thanks so much for playing and the feedback!
A great concept I would say and also hard at the same time but the audio the visuals are great I really enjoyed playing it.
Thank you very much <3 Very happy you enjoyed it ^-^
Very creative concept, It’s very tricky to stay in the footsteps
Thanks! Much appreciated :D
This is so creative and the presentation is so polished. I really loved the theme and the gameplay. the difficulty is pretty high but this is fun enough that I kept retrying after I died.
Really glad you enjoyed it in spite of the difficulty :D
One of the most creative interpretations of the theme I've seen yet! Looks and sounds amazing, and while it may have taken me a while to fully understand the controls, it was very gratifying to get further and further every attempt
Thank you so much <3
Really glad you enjoy it and that the theme tie-in reads well :D
Beautiful game and creative concept! A bit too difficult at first IMO, I'd maybe break it into shorter levels so that the player gets a sense of achievement
Agreed - I'd love to make a better ease in :) Thanks for playing!
Nice idea, definitely worth developing further!
Thanks :D We might just do it, who knows ;)
Thought of making it a roguelike, survive night after night, starting easier but becoming much harder. Wdyt?
It was challenging but was a fun experience to get used to the controls, and I managed to clear the game:) Well done!
The Circle holds! :D Thanks, glad you enjoyed it ^-^
This is a really beautiful game, I especially love the design of the spectres in the peripheral!
I agree! Jane's really outdone herself on those. Much appreciated, thank you <3
Love the vibe of this game, it was a bit challenging but still fun to play!
Yaay!! The Circle holds!
Shape completing effects are amazing, though controls are hard the reward is good
I'd like to make it a little easier to control but also still keep the challenge. Thanks for the feedback, glad you ultimately enjoyed it :)
