How does your game fit the theme?
The mobius strip is a loop with only one side, and the character mows this continuous loop as long as they can. As well, the minigames themselves loop, as the issues with such an unreliable mower tend to repeat themselves.

This is a really neat concept and interesting interpretation of the theme!

I would suggest increasing the time on the first instance of each minigame, just so the player has a bit more of a chance to figure out what the goal is.

Really cool to see another lawn mowing game in the jam! The minigame style loop take on the theme is quite cool, and it's cool how the loop of mower breakdowns repeats (that does happen a lot). Simple but effective story, and everything is quite neat.

As others have said, sound/music definitely adds a lot, but there's a lot of good here as well. The lemonade being there to allow a break is really cute as well. I wish you luck on your game development journey, and hope you keep making awesome games!!

Very cool indeed! Great minds think alike, they say. I will definitely give Lawn Begone a try!

Build with sound and music is definitely coming next, thank you so much for the encouragement!

I like the idea of an infinite stream of minigames, and I like the minigames themselves, I just wish there were more of them!

And like others have said, even simple sound effects would add a lot.

Developer

I'm really really glad you liked my take on the theme! More minigames and sound effects on the way for sure

Actually a fantastic game, I got 99 meteres and had a great time with it. Fun little minigames and a very charming artstyle!

Developer

Thank you so much! 99 metres is quite a lot and I'm really glad you enjoyed the art!

That was really hard!  I got to 58 meters.  Solving challenges the first time was fun, I liked that there was so little time to parse how the minigame worked and then how to beat it.  Likes others say SFX would be a great addition (especially would be funny for the spam clicking air pump minigame)

Developer

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed! I was a little worried about not giving enough time, so I'm very happy to hear it worked out!

This was quite tough and I had a hard time figuring out the mini-games, but I liked the concept, the opening story element, and the idea of mowing a mobius strip! Great. :)

Developer

Thanks so much! In the future I'm hoping to add more minigames and some clearer instructions when they pop up.
