How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme because in the lore every time a messenger fails there is a new one just getting started. Furthermore, at the end of the game it is hinted that there is more to the story, and that the protagonist is just starting a new journey.

Fun: amazing, one of my favorites so far, 2 boss fights, full story, 2 unique abilities, love it. One thing is that the death message is annoying. I did it similarly to Celeste; death gives you a quick death animation, then you go back to the previous checkpoint.
Presentation: Really like the art style, the light gave it a really good vibe, the sound design was good as well, I love the character walk animation, it's so selly
cteativty: amazing work, good idea, good story, fit the theme, great work
That was a very fun and polished game, well done! The mechanics worked very well and it was satisfying to push enemies to their death, as well as freeze objects through the levels. I also enjoyed the boss fights although I wished there was a bit more variety in the attacks and/or a reason to use the stasis during the fight. The art was amazing, especially the animations in the final cutscene. Also, the audio felt like it was a bit loud at times, and the restart/death screen was a bit long. Otherwise, great entry!
i really like this little dungeon crawler game, it felt really polished and satisfying. my favourite part was probably the music, it sounded really cool!
That is a lot of content for a game jam, fantastic job. The visuals, while simplistic, look quite nice. I appreciate having so many SFX and VFX for everything; it adds a lot to the experience.
The "combat" mechanics were very unique and rather fun (reminds me of The Witcher). The music was quite good too, and you even added a short story.
Great submission.
Pretty good game, it already feels kind of fleshed out, which is really impressive for a game jam. The art is also pretty nice, overall it might be one of the best entries this jam, good job
If you have the time feel free to check ou my game as well, i would oove the feedback
very interesting and fun game. I liked the clever usage of mechanics especially in bossfights. The levels are unique and requires both accuracy and thinking. The main character is very cute
This game does an excellent job of clearly communicating what everything is and how to interact with it. The mechanics are intuitive, easy to grasp, and smooth to use.
Overall, it's a charming, short, and well-crafted game jam entry. Well done!
just a well made well rounded game
Charming little game! Amazingly fun, really well executed, loved it all. and loved the story! I think it might be one of the best this jam, so really good work. 5/5 stars easy. Also, would you mind giving our game a look too?
that was an amazing game I loved the art the puzzles and the boss fights but I do wish the final boss was a bit harder, I beat him on my first attempt. but I think it is one of the best games in this game jam.
Thanks for playing! Thanks for the feedback about the final boss.
Wow, I really enjoyed how polished the game was and how much there was, am really impressed with how much you got done in the time span and now I know what to set my goals for next time haha. The lore to it also is cool to match the theme. Only thought is that since you have some enemies immune to knockback and you kill them by making them walk into the spikes, the other enemies could have ai to avoid the spikes. Great job and thanks for the fun game
Amazing story and gameplay...i loved the concept of shooting the projectiles back at the turrets
Very clean and polished game :) All the best for next games man
I liked the story alot and the game was fun. I liked how it wasnt just hit enemy until they die and you had to push them into spikes and stuff.
Made it to stasis wave then mouse gesture reloaded page oops. This was really really well done. I... guess the only thing I can say is the Death animation was a bit slow? But that just tells me I suck at the game and saw it too often.
Thanks for playing! I will let you know that the game saves!
WOW this game was truly awesome, i absolutely love the mechanics and the charming little guy character. the boss fight at the end is sick and the ending ties everything together so nicely, i really enjoyed this game. the intro hits hard especially on a second playthrough and gives you this sense of excitement and urgency to start the game.
here are some notes, criticisms, thoughts i took while playing.
- the very first spike section should have a checkpoint, i ran into spikes on purpose to see what being hurt looks like and then had to backtrack, obv not a big deal since it was just one room but still wanted to mention
- when first entering rooms the darkness can hide spikes so 2 times i just auto walked into spikes before i could see them
- add interactable pushable boxes/objects in sections where you get push / time ability so you can instantly try them out before proceeding
- there was a room with 6 rotating things and you needed to use the time statis ability here. i didnt like the checkpoint placement in this room i felt cheated about not getting to have to cross the whole thing in one go. it took the joy of completing that challenge away.
- the mechanic where the purple/corrupted enemies get attracted to you faster after left click isn't properly conveyed enough with a sound or visual effect, and this led to some confusion later on with the 1st boss encounter because i didnt understand why the bullets were tracking me so agressively at first.
- i really enjoyed the combat section with pushing the enemies and i wish there was a room with more waves of enemies that was a bit more challenging.
- this is subjective but i personally would like a bit more challenge over all with the enemy types / puzzles / platforming
I hope you keep working on this game i would love to play more of it. really great work!
Thanks for the review! I’ll take your points into consideration if I ever decide to keep working on it!
very fun little game
Very simple but very fun! Definitely my favourite of the arcade style games I've played on here. The inability to damage enemies and instead have to use their own moves against them was so fun! Genuinely such a great submission!
Wow this was good. I don't know what to say other than its amazing.
