The game originally had the player push the rocks into the rockets, but found it to be too mean :(
Scaring the rockets by almost hitting them was the next best choice (maybe)

Fun twist on the classic Asteroids-style game, but this time, you have to make sure they just miss you. Clever idea!
It took a moment to get used to that concept, but once it clicked, it was fun to play.
The theme felt a bit less present to me, but visually, controls and audio-wise, everything was solid.
Keep it going like that! πͺ
Thank you :D
The gameplay is so smooth and very fun!! The visuals and the sound effects make the overall vibes really good!! I don't think it fitted the theme well.. but I enjoyed the game a lot!! (also the leaderboard made it even more fun :D)
Thank you :)
Took me a few tries to figure out the goal of the game but after that it was fun and challenging to play, especially with the leaderboard.
Perhaps the context/back story of the game could be that it's a theme park thrill ride in space and you want to scare the crowd but not kill them.
For the webGL version, the full screen button unfortunately didn't work for me and this made control more difficult as I often placed my mouse outside the game window and then the player spaceship stops moving. But in general I liked the smooth controls. It's a nice alternative movement to classic asteroids type of games.
Thank you for playing <3
About Game.... Really enjoyed the gameplay! Its actually pretty hard to score but still fun. At least i made it to top 10. It could be easily be a casual game for mobile.
But i don't think the game fits the theme in any way. Other than that its a pretty good casual game. Good work!
Thank you for playing :)
A lot more modern looking then most asteroid games. The ship design and the particle effects are really clean and the interstellar theme sells it as space well.
Thank you :)
I really liked the artsyle, it looks very nice, it's fun to play and the sounds and music are great!!! :D
Thank you βΊοΈ
Beautiful presentation of the game with great music and visuals. The gameplay is also really engaging and the core mechanic of almost missing is also very unique. In my first run itself i got a 20 score, though i had no idea how :D I had a lot of fun on the next few runs also. I dont quite get how it fits the theme though, maybe im missing something? But nevertheless, an engaging game, well done :)
Thank you very much :)
I spent a really long time shooting the asteroids, and only in the end realized, that I get points for near misses :D
Other than that- enjoyable arcade game! Not really about resources though
Thank you! Drifted away from the theme a little :>
It's simple and enjoyable to play. I really liked the audio component. It relaxes you so much in the process that you want to stay longer.
Thank you :>
Such as simple concept but you've made it so challenging (In a fun way) Love the visuals and the leaderboard is great :D
Thank you very much :)
GAMEPLAY: Light and executed well. I'm not sure why points come only in 2's, and the lingering ships between plays have caused a few issues, but that's it for complaints. You give clear information on where rocks and ships appear, the "secret" mode of bumping into rocks instead of shooting is both intuitive and helpful, and I'm able to move where I want to easily. Can agree with previous commenters--a "stop" button would be useful.
VISUALS: This is largely an asset pack I recognize, but the little touches bring it together. I particularly liked the thrusters appearing on my ship when I move it fast enough. Also, good job on the game page, the backdrop slots the game in well.
AUDIO: Very chill, space-age music fits both the atmosphere and gameplay. Sound effects appear where they should and fit in with the music well.
THEME: I'm not sure at all how resources come into play here. Everything seems to be unlimited, and it's controlled with one button and the mouse.
Thank you for your feedback, definitely wondered a little off from the theme XD
Challenging gameplay, an AWESOME environment, and a solid idea. The game delivers exactly what you'd expect — it's tough but offers a straightforward playthrough, and I really enjoyed that. Great job!
Thank you <3
Simple, challenging, and fun! I feel like it's a little too hard to maneuver the rock into the correct position. Maybe making it so that holding RMB stops the player but still looks toward the mouse would be a good idea, that way you can shoot rocks without having to move towards them. Overall, I loved the art, sound effects, and simple gameplay, good work!
Thank you so much! Holding RMB to stop makes so much sense, updating it after the jam for sure :D
It wasn't a huge flood of content, but what's there works well! At times I would have liked a bit more control, but I realized that might take away from the challenge. It's simple, but well executed!
I'm a fan of simple but effective art styles. Clean and clear to look at - well done!
The sound design feels well thought out and adds to the experience. Good work!
The theme was only implemented very loosly...
-> Overall, a solid and enjoyable small game β great job!
Thank you <3
