Nice submission! The 3rd person camera can be a little wonky, but fits the surreal vibe of the art.

Movement/camera feel  responsive and aesthetics reminiscent of old school Nintendo 3d. Adding a soundtrack would be nice as well as volume settings since the jump grunt sound becomes repetitive.

A clever take on the theme with awesome art direction. I did not manage to save all the apes this time, but thoroughly enjoyed my time at the ape archipelago. Bravo!

Great 8 bit character designs and an interesting follower mechanic. Platform art could use some polish

That is a weird cat! Good turn based combat mechanic.  I also like the upgrade store being in the back of a van lol

Good music choice! I do wish the movement wasn't so slow. The level lighting did not feel very prison like.  That being said a solid Sokoban game

A neat Santa Simulator making good use of the jam theme. Nice!

orbs with different sounds could be fun. Cool concept!

Wow! music is wonderful like some sleek A24 black comedy film. Unique mechanics with a melancholy to your  minimalist art style that is reminisce of World of Goo in the best way.

Great arcade music! Not convinced your monkey isn't a Kirby in disguise. Did not make it anywhere close to CoreSprouts record though!

Had the same issue, but its not ruined just a bug to be squashed. Your game has still got a good vibe congrats!

Clankers! My monkeys were not very accurate lol.  Clicking you a good job in morse code.

Appreciate the  contrasts in your soundtrack and characters design.  Nice spin on the jam theme.

Dig the unique zany art style good job

The Impossible Game played with Minecraft Steve's head is a funny idea

Really dig the style of the fish art! Worth exploring further for sure.

Big reddit mod vibes. cheers though

Saltynoga(aka sofyan). Did you make this account just to be rude to your fellow jam participants it seems so from your comments so far. Far from uplifting if I may say so.  I used the opportunity to create new art and  make my game better within the parameters of the jam. Which game is yours?

Edit: he just  deleted his initial comment  full of typos and false accusations. I can repost it if anyone is interested.

Edit2: he has changed his name from saltynoga to sofyan since original post.

Right there in the rules man. Which game did you make?

 According to the rules:

"The game's release date must fall within the submission period or be an updated version of a previously accepted LightBear Software Game Jam entry."

This is an updated version of a previously accepted entry!

Great character animations. Music a little loud!

Funny idea and ear design.  Can see some some goofy enemies/bosses in the games future.

Haha you really do get sent into the great beyond. Going to have to put some birds to bring you back down and/or a secret level up there...

Glad you had some fun and thanks for your feedback!

Thank you I appreciate it!  Spent too much time on the art as usual.  That is an excellent suggestion definitely going to implement a splash-o-meter.

A really nice soundtrack if an original!

Great concept!

Dig the bad guy character design. Nice angle on a visual novel!

Nice twist on the theme with the bat sonar. Definitely worth adding some enemies and sound to.  Could be interesting to see the waves bounce off the walls they collide with.

Awesome job with the music. So much character in your sound design.

Satisfying sounds and good core loop well done

great art, but making us listen to such harsh static might be a little cruel

If Skrillex was djing your heart monitor. Fun use of the theme and well worth expanding upon.

Nice! A really cool  rhythm/shooter crossover concept! Don't know if I suck or the rhythm/music track timing might be a little off.

Nice job on the sound design the blaster sfx fits great with the music

Totally fair. Cheers!

Thank you very much appreciated. I totally agree. I pivoted to this idea too late in the jam to realize it's full potential. But me and these here squares already got big things planned for their future!

Wow thanks so much! I just sent an email to you guys let me know if you need further verification.

I like the atmosphere created from the spooky sounds and your art! Got to the crime scene floor, but didn't see any way to continue? Anyway nice job!

Excellent music choices and background art hope to see the finished product someday.

It runs on FireFox, Safari, Chrome, or DuckDuckGo.  Glad to find it works on Edge too. Not sure why it glitched for you, nevertheless I truly appreciate the playtest!

I did put some speedbumps in the game for speedrunners. The levels have infinite variations with some items locations randomized . So you cant necessarily memorize a combination of exact moves. A perfect run without the bull hitting anything should be impossible, but I would never underestimate speedrunners.

Thanks again for playing
