I really really enjoyed this one. The hidden mechanic for getting shortcuts in earlier levels to get more time in later levels is so clever and well executed. The artwork is very clear and expressive and I like the music and sound. Great work!

It's very fun to play and replay this game's levels, I'd definitely say that the gameplay loop was a big plus here :)

You should be able to choose the easy difficulty level, and have a tutorial phase where noobs can gain level 5

Awesome little platforming puzzle with great feels! Great job!

I tried to be as fast as possible in every level but still don't have enough time in the last one :(

There is a shortcut in level 2 and 6 that could give you some extra seconds. Feel free to give it another try.
Thanks for playing!

OMG it was much deeper than I thought! Awesome work! Loved it!

A really nice little "celeste-like" game! I loved it, very polished execution. Gameplay is balanced and challenging at the right mix. Good job!

Thanks!

A solid puzzle game with a rather interesting twist, keeping attributes from one level to the next. Grahics are clear and sound is also good. The early tutorial levels do a good job of explaining the concepts.

My only criticism is that the difficulty ramps up very fast at Level 5. This is of course common in jams, where we don't have enough time to balance and playtest (I have the same issue...).

Beautiful arts. I loved the portal! The gameplay is also polished, for a game created in less than a week.

Thanks!

Super creative! I don't know if I've ever played a game that encourages the part of my brain that loves to cheese games. It's like stealing a box in mario maker to skip an entire section of a level or saving a dash till the end of a room in celeste. Felt good to play too, great job!

It's a bit awkward when you're trying to save up dashes and jumps and you use one, and then you don't know which one from which level got used up. I don't know if that can be helped though.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for pointing out that it's unclear which dash/jump has been used while playing.

The concept where all the levels are "connected" by having resources carried forward is very refreshing and unique. Though it felt slightly unintuitive for me to go back to previous levels to "fix my mistake" just so I can proceed with the latest level. Still, very interesting and creative, good job!

Really fun game, reminds me of Celeste. Not sure if level 8 is beatable though.

Developer

Celeste is one of my favorite games!
Yes, level 8 is beatable but quite hard.

Somehow I totally missed that this was a puzzle game, and spent 5 minutes confused and losing over and over. As soon as I realized that the 30 seconds was for the whole game, and time carried over between levels, it clicked. Very fun puzzle to solve, with a unique idea of carrying ability charges through levels. I found myself liking this game a lot once I understood it.

The game doesn't explain the core mechanics (30-second time limit, puzzle elements) very well. I'm glad you figured it out and enjoyed it. Thanks!
