I quite enjoyed this. Might be interesting if there was a timed mode where you trying to go as far as you can in a limited amount of time.

Developer(+1)

Yes, of course, I thought about adding this timed mode, but I ended up forgetting because of the jam time :/

Maybe if i continue to update this game i'll add.

Thanks for playing!:]

The game is very well polished (even to the title screen !) and feels nice to play or even just move the mouse around.

My only nitpick would be the difficulty (or lack of), since you can add / substract numbers between cards, and multiply / divide, I would expect to reach and/or make high numbers. having everything be <20 makes most puzzle trivial. Even more, what is the point of putting the goal of addition in behind a math equations ? This doesn’t tie much to the rest of the game/or design. Maybe have cards that are operands (+, x, /, etc..) that you could switch with the main equation and has such have greater design space ?

In any case, it is still an impressive game made in a short amount of time, congrats.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it!

Yeah, I totally get what you mean. The operations being already combined with the numbers (like +3, *2) do make the puzzles simpler. I was rushing like crazy to finish the game in less than a day, so I went with the most straightforward way to make it work XD

But I loved your idea of having separate cards for numbers and operators — it opens up so much design potential. Definitely something I wanna explore if I revisit this project for a post-jam version!

Thanks again for playing and taking the time to write this!:]

I'm impressed it feels so good to play for a game made in a short amount of time :OO

The concept is fun and I would like to add decimals, powers and so on just to make it more difficult. :))

Developer

Glad you liked!;)
Thanks for the feedback! Maybe in some future update:D

Very satisfy to play, it's hard to believe you polished the game this much in a single day! Keep up the good work man

Wow, I can't believe you made it in less than a day. The amount of polish is incredible! The SFX are very effective, the music matches very well, and even the concept is cool. Good job it's an impressive submission!

Nice game! The visuals are nice and the mechanics are easy to understand. I found an issue where I got the correct number on the last attempt but it still counted as a loss though

Either way really amazing game!

Developer

Glad you liked the game!:D
Thank you so much for reporting the bug, already corrected!

Really awesome! Great visuals and sounds and music and gameplay! One idea I had was to be able to have your current tally visible somewhere. so like if you click a +1 and +2 card, it says +3 somewhere, so the player doesn't have to hold the number in their head.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the game! :D

I'll consider your feedback, feel free to give more suggestions for the game.
