I'm gonna be honest, the fact that you did this on a mobile DAW (and that such a thing exists) has sidetracked my brain pretty drastically and now the only thing I can think of is "you can make music on your phone????"

Anyway, cool sound overall. Personally, I would have loved to hear the drums kick into high gear after a bit in "Action Level," but it's a cool track regardless. Nice work!

I dig the synth choices here, it ties the whole sound together well. There's some strong musical ideas here too, I like the melody on Action Level a lot, it's got a tension to it that feels similar to Ghost Trick (very awesome) but it faded out just when I thought it was about to build up! Would love to hear these songs explored a bit more because I think they're solid so far, good work!

Yap. That's cute!

overall, there were a lot of catchy melodies and ideas that kept me captivated; the basslines in "Prologue" and "Action Level" in particular made me excited. i would love to see some more evolution in the bassline melodies! i am intrigued by the direction you took "Got Item" in... it's always interesting to see how a videogame musically describes the event of finding an item... is it an exciting thing of whimsy and fantasy? or does it feel like a piece of hope in an otherwise bleak environment? ;~)

a shame about the timeframe limiting your time for mixing and idea elaboration; i think there are lot of potential directions your soundtrack could go in!

I like the material itself, but felt that you could expand upon the tracks a bit more with some more instrumentation.

Somehow as soon as i heard the first track I got a strong feeling that it would go well in Age Of Empires with some different instruments 😁, really liked that track.

On the action level, i was missing some more percussion, mainly a kick drum.

But still, good work!

Cool ideas! Definitely have potential if you ever transferred them to pc workstation! They have a kinda megadrive feel to them.

Cool tracks, props getting comfortable with mobile composing.

I didn't feel a strong sense of freedom during the tracks though but they we're a nice unique listen for sure!

Writing music on a mobile app sounds like a struggle so props to you for that!

I really liked the instrument used in the third track. the bouncy synth harmony thing. I would have loved for it to take the melody role in a second part to the song!

Everything was a little flat with not much mixing but I think that might just come with the territory of writing music on a mobile app.

Developer

The lack of mixing has more to do with the time constraint, than the mobile app.

Very old school chip tune vibe! Nice work!

I def felt like this was part of a video game soundtrack thats for sure.

Even if it's very barebones, it still has a personality to it.

Good work! This made for a nice listen. The use of soft synths was interesting and the patches were pleasant to listen to. I like the bass in Action Level - it has just the right amount of crunch and bite. Reminds me of some of the thicker basses you'd hear on the Genesis/Megadrive back in the day. Lead lines fit well over it and it never felt like they were battling for the spotlight. Best of luck!
