Wow! Full voice acting, music and a good game experience. The pause menu was a bit garbled for me but other than that it worked really well. I'm impressed.

Thank you! Rly appreciate it :)

This is awesome

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)

Congrats on your jam game. I really like the art style, the music and voiceover. One thing, I find the fade to red a little unpleasant on the eyes, perhaps a darker red would be more suitable. Nonetheless a real great entry with impressive scope.

Developer

Thanks! And yeah, you're prolly right about the bright red, I'll play around with some calmer colors :)

Fantastic.  Fun gameplay.  Difficult.  (Running with Wine the grass doesn't render, kind of a cool stylization though)

Developer

Big thanks! The black ground seems to happen on some Windows machines too, not quite sure yet what the issue is.

Glad you enjoyed :)

Very nice! Were you inspired by hotline miami at all?

Developer

Thanks! Yup, Hotline Miami was a big inspiration for the gameplay

Another complete game :) Worth 1st place.
Really like your shadows and kudos for using SDL3. I personally didn't find time/strength to study it properly.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!
I luckily was able to use the render "framework" from another project for this, so I didn't need to write all the SDL code in a week lol.
Would have taken forever :D

I played it all the way through, such an intense game play and aesthetic! I loved it!

Developer

Thanks a ton! Really glad you enjoyed it :)

Very well made. Really enjoyed the vibes! The only issue I encountered is that most of my screen was black where I would expect green grass instead (in both the release and debug versions).

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

I see others have had this issue too, quite unfortunate.. Thank you for playing! :)

Really liked the intro, music, and aesthetics! I had a bug where the entire floor was black (nvidia gpu). The shooting was really satisfying but the melee felt a little inconsistent. Super great overall!

Developer

Big thanks! I am on AMD, so that might explain the inconsistency. If you have time, could you test turning off shadows in the options, I have a feeling that *might* have something to do with it. Hope I can fix the issue after the jam ends :)

Submitted(+1)

It was the first thing I tried, still all black

Developer

Ahh, damn. Hope I figure it out, thanks!

Great game overall! Deep and complex game!

Developer

Thanks, appreciate it!

You didn't have to go this hard, but you did! Incredible job!

Developer

Thank you! :))

This is amazing. I can’t believe you made this in such a short amount of time. Voice acting, sfx, music, graphics, gameplay…it’s all there. I got to level 5 I think and after trying about 10 times I gave up. It’s tough. The only negative thing I’ll say is that the AI is either godlike or very dumb. Hard to know if you’ll get sniped across the map or not. I could definitely see this winning the jam.

Developer(+1)

Big thanks! You got quite far through actually - I struggle myself too on some of the later levels, so well done :)

And you're def right about the AI, that could be improved quite a bit.

Thank you for playing!
