Make a game in 7 days using the Odin Programming Language!
Ever wanted to make video games using a low-level programming language? Odin is a great choice! It comes with bindings for video game programming libraries and is easy to get started with. Join us for a 7 day Odin video game making fest!
Intro Live Stream: March 8, 5:30 PM CET
During this stream I'll talk about:
- How to get going with Odin gamdev
- Some general advice on how to approach a gamejam
- At 6:00 PM CET I'll reveal the optional theme and the jam starts!

Rules
- Make your game using the Odin Programming Language.
- You can use pre-made frameworks and libraries. But the gameplay code must be written during the jam.
- Make your game within the 7 days of the jam. Exception: You can add additional platforms (web build, additional operating systems) after the jam has ended.
- It's OK to use free graphics, sounds and music. But you are encouraged to make your own. Remember: You got 7 days!
- Allowed team size: 1-3 people.

- March 15, 6:00 PM CET - JAM ENDS - Submit your game before this time!
- March 15, 6:00 PM CET - VOTING STARTS - Play games and vote which you liked the best.
- March 23, 6:00 PM CET - VOTING ENDS - Note: You have 8 days to vote!
- March 23, 6:00 PM CET - I PLAY THE GAMES! - Immediately when the voting ends, I'll play the top 10 games and congratulate the winners! This happens on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@karl_zylinski
Optional theme: Pathways
This jam has an optional theme: Pathways.
You don't have to use the theme. It is meant for people who want some extra constraints or limitations. Interpret it in any creative way you want!

Voting
After the jam ends you can play and vote for which games you liked the most. Only participants can vote. The voting ends March 23 6:00 CET (8 days after the jam ends).
The game with the best score wins!
