Really creative idea! I had a lot of fun bouncing the obsidian and thought the upgrades were exciting too! I think it might be interesting if there were enemies that would shoot at you, it felt like the biggest threat to me was the obsidian xD

Thanks for playing! I actually do have enemies that shoot but they are later in the game. I feel the game is a bit too slow and long, the screen too big, and the enemies too much HP. But I was running in to tons of performance issues so I stopped working on it. I am working on a new one that I feel is a lot better and more like the type of game that I like.
Fun. I like this kind of roguelike action.
Personally, I thought it would be more exhilarating if the enemies had a bit less HP, and the stage was narrower or the enemies were bigger.

I actually liked how I had it when it was a smaller game and enemies had less HP but I got way too ahead of my self and the more I changed it, the worse it got and the worst it ran. I am working on something that feels a lot better now this game helped me learn a lot.
The how to play screen is helpful but the text is a bit small and hard to read in options and upgrade menus.
Maybe an reward for combo-ing the obsidian and encouraging the player to not let it touch the ground would make it more fun
Upgrades like multiple obsidians/weapons will also increase the interactions of the game
the player being unable to control his jump height means that he has no reliable way to dodge the late game bullet barrage other then praying he kills things fast enough(or rely on hp regen also)
having an enemy that hides at the top and spawns a power up on death would encourage the player to make trickshots with the obsidian instead of just smashing it into enemy groups,which increases the skill ceiling
Thanks for playing. I am pretty new so I am sure it had something to do with it but this game runs pretty bad. It always ran great inside Godot but I think I learned my lesson on using physics. I am working on a new game that is not the same but has the same idea where you control some sort of ball and I am not using physics this time and instead just coding it the way I want it to feel.
It is an interesting blend of different game genres, I can feel a good potential. The beginning of the game is quite slow, the enemies are very high and hard to reach and they take a long to time to move down. Nice game!

- Innovation – It is very unique! it is a fun combination of games~ kinda like pong + a survivors-like heh
- Fun – It was very fun! You should keep working on it and add more variety of upgrades. Would be cool if you got 3 choices per level up. Some more upgrades that shoot projectiles would be cool!
- Graphics – Very simple and clear! The black and white works well and makes everything easy to see
- Audio – Simple and works well! Might be cool if there was ambient monster sounds that got louder as their numbers increase + as the get closer
- Polish – It is looking good!
