Insanely good game. Very polished. I really liked the way the the tutorial was implemented.

This is one of my favourites, impressively polished, great job!
My Notes
- I love the atmospheric music.
- I like the nice simple art.
- The mechanics feel very polished.
- The quick restart is a nice touch.
- I like that you tutorialize through level design but I found the first mirror throwing puzzle quite hard because I didn’t realise you could rotate it. Perhaps adding some control prompts through the game would be good.
Haha I did it! I finished it!
Really enjoyed the game and it is a solid puzzle game, like others said maybe level 10 was a little problematic with the real time shooting (and it was less puzzle-y and more luck of hitting it properly in mid-air), but otherwise no complains. It was enjoyable and it is expandable in a miriad of ways.
Only a small note / advice, I would differentiate graphically the walls that can reflect shots a little better, I could discern them after a while but sometimes I had to try because I was not entirely sure.
Also, the art was lovely and the music fit well with the aesthetics.
Good job!
Thanks! For level 10, I'll most likely be reworking it or placing it at a much higher level when I add in more inbetween levels 8-9. I would still like to experiment with some reflex-like levels, but maybe add in some slow-motion ability to accompany them. I'll also look into changing the reflective walls graphically to make them easier to see. Maybe brightening them up or adding some particles will do. Thanks so much for the feedback!
That was really good :) i'm a big music enjoyer so I would say that maybe a longer music could have been nice but it's nothing experience breaking x) the mechanics are nice, the level design is really good and the core idea of course is very good too !
it seems like it's your first jam so congrats and I hope to see more of you two in the future ;)
Oh man, this is crazy good! Aside from more levels, I don't think I can "complain" about anything. I initially didn't notice the color difference between the reflecting walls but figuring it out was easy since the reset is super quick. I really liked how the puzzles all gave an extra shot tool.
Finally I can see the warmth of the sun in my skin! :D
I felt like some more levels could be added between the 8th and 10th level, to lower a little the increase of dificulty from one level to another. Beside that, great game, good game design and super fun to play. Congrats!
This is such a cool and simple game but with such a great level and puzzle design. Great use of the theme and would’ve loved to see more mechanics integrated in this game
Some feedback:
- Tutorial/Guide on how mirror throwing works: Level 9 was difficult, not because it’s puzzling difficult but because there wasn’t any instructions “on having your mouse further away, throws it further.”
- Level 10 was a bit anti climatic for me: I was trying to throw the mirror, shoot it mid-throw to hit the charger while also having it land at the exact spot I needed to shoot the next charger. Unfortunately, I found out that you could reach the 2nd charger with just a nice angle without the mirror you started with. Would’ve loved to do the mid shot way with a slow motion mechanic.
Overall, really great game! Definitely up there!
Glad you enjoyed the game! I'll be adding in short tutorials throughout the game in the future to help with mechanics like mirror throwing. Also sorry to hear about level 10. I did actually realise shortly after submission that you can use that other mirror to hit the second charger, which was not intended, haha. A slow motion mechanic is genius though! I might look into adding something like that, it would look sick as. Thank you so much for the feedback!
Cool concept, nice graphics - the puzzle design was very good too. The light cast animation and sounds were perfect. I loved the reflex level at the end! Awesome work, congrats on the submission!
Whew, that was a tough puzzle, but eventually I did get through all of the levels. Great level design! Level 9 and 10 did take a few tries to nail, but I did eventually get there. Glad I didn't give up.
Beautiful pixel art and a calm atmosphere. While loud, the music is nice and accommodating to the game. Enjoyed the subtle complexity to the puzzles in each room, getting more and more complicated and needing different skills to solve. Overall very well polished and quite fun, would love to see what else could be done with the puzzles.
Great job!
Really enjoyed playing through your game! The light beam bounces are so satisfying and there was lots to play for a jam, 10 levels all nicely designed and well balanced with the additional light beams to assist with the increasing complexity. Level 9 was a head scratcher for a bit but I was keen to figure it out and eventually did :D
The simplicity of the UI is very well suited and I loved the bouncy fade in/out on restart/level change. The only thing I'd say is player speed does seem a bit needlessly slow but everything else was great :)
Great work!
Very nicely done. I love the mechanics, the visuals, and the audio. My only real complaint is the somewhat slow speed in which the character moves, but aside from that, this is genuinely great.
Okay, if my solution to level 10 is actually the intended one (bouncing a shot off the mirror mid-throw) then that's just mean.
Other than that, it looks pretty, its a polished, smooth experience, the mechanics are intuitive and easy enough to understand (with a minor exception where I had to alt tab to the game's description to find out you can pick up those mirrors), the controls are smooth... yeah its pretty good I guess.
(Okay fine I feel like I'm looking at a game that's like mine except better in every way. That's like a compliment, right?)
A really good and unique puzzle game. I felt so smart figuring our levels 9 and 10 on my own. It looks beautiful, sounds amazing, a lovely experience all around.
Really nice entry! well done. The puzzles are fun! and the mechanic matches pretty well the jam theme. Maybe the difficulty curve steeps a bit much at level 9, it would have been nice to have a little bit more feedback with the mirror-throwing mechanic.
Definitely a great contender!
