nice, simple and straightforward mechanics, level 5 was indeed hard.  Like the sound effects and music

There is an episode 1?

Super good, love It.

This was fun to play! Everything fits so well together: The cute pixel art, the music, the lighting, the story. Good job! I really liked the visualization of eating a cookie, and now I am hungry because that pixel cookie looked so delicious :D

The pixel art is awesome, and the sounds and music fit really well. I Loved the lighting effect too, and incapacitating the home owner was hilarious :D

I'm undecided if I liked the always-running mechanic or not. Sometimes it felt quite nice, other times I found it annoying. Overall, I felt like the game probably could have worked just as well without it.

Controls felt good but not sure if there was a reason drinking milk was set to "E"? Felt like it could have just been space too.

I really appreciated having the tutorial popups, it introduced the gameplay nicely. Overall it was really polished and amazing for 48 hours work!

that's a five stars from me.
Beautiful graphics, music on point, controls are great, everything looks polished. Well done !

An absolute treat! I for one actually think the floaty controls is pretty fitting for the mechanics of this game, playing as Simon trying to save Christmas whilst being... Simon and making a ruckus.

Beautifully polished, and definitely a must-play for this jam. Well done!

Really fun, looks amazing and nice story. Controls are a little annoying to get the hang of but you figure them out on the 3rd or 4th play. Amazing work for the short time limit

This is a really fun, very polished game. Loved the animations, the music, the gameplay, every bit of it :3

That final level was definitely very hard, we didn't get to beat it :( Really glad to see you back for another year of jamming though! :) The game was really fun.

I loved how polished this game felt! Really impressive for 48 hours. The only complaint I have is that the homeowner's hitbox is a bit unclear, so it can be hard to move around him, but I still think that this is great!

This game is so fun. I honestly spent waaay too much time playing this amazing masterpiece. The only  thing I can complain about is the movement. It doesn't feel good but that doesn't matter because it really fits well with the game and it just brings Simon as a character to life. Great game! I wonder what kind of follow up you will create next year.

Absolutely loved it, the little animations and sounds of UI elements make it feel really polished.

P.S. Much like Lewis, I too enjoy the scenery.

I really loved the game last year and this year did not disappoint! Excellent work! I found the difficulty was just right, I usually had to spend a run just scoping out the house so I could plan my route for the second run! I guess if you were to add an easy difficulty, it could show the layout of the house before you start, but overall, brilliant game!

Really great! Definitely a worthy sequel. I love the idea of sneaking around the houses and love the mechanic of dropping toys as traps. I did find the time limit was very short, so it became a bit of a game of deliberately failing until you've explored the house and then trying for an optimal run. I'd consider maybe giving a bit more time so there's at least a chance of clearing the houses first time through. Overall a really polished game!

Hey ! I really liked the game ;3 it was fun !
I don't even know if individual ratings are visible at the end of the jam, but here's how I rated the game:

Visual

Simple but effective visuals, really pleasant to the eye. I liked it a lot!

Sound

I enjoyed the different sounds a lot! All sounds fit perfectly with eachother, and their volume is set accordingly to their importance. It's nice to hear quiet footsteps, as Simon's trying to be discreet. Very well thought, very well achieved.

Tutorials

The best tutorials I've seen so far. Not too intrusive, but they tell you exactly what to do, are easy to remember and mostly, fast to read. Wonderful work here.

Gameplay

  • The idea is really cool, I like that you have different tasks to do, with cookies and gifts.
  • Although, I think the timing is way too short, even with the toys on the ground, I feel like it becomes really hard counting from the level 3.
  • Not being able to put down gifts you've taken is frustrating too (or I just was really stupid and couldn't put them back on the ground). I wanted to take cookies sometimes but had a gift in my hands and couldn't do that.
  • The idea to make the owner fall on the ground with toys is wonderful, I loved it.
  • And the idea of having the owner wake up is really interesting too, although too hard imo.
  • I didn't really like that Simon runs when you don't press any keys, but I'd say I'm neutral about this point. It wasn't much of an issue while playing, just sometimes weird movements.

Fun

I had a lot of fun with this game, just a slight frustration from the game being too hard for me (I'm not really skilled, I guess haha).

Bugs

I didn't encounter any bug. The game feels really polished in every aspect, and in a 48h game jam, it's wonderful to have such a nice level of polishing.

Theme

Completely in the theme, no problem for me on that part :)
