MODIFIERS

Want more of a challenge? Here are some modifiers we’ve come up with in case you want to spice it up! These won’t get you any extra points, they’re just there as extra prompts for a bit of fun. Feel free to do as many/little/none as you like:

  • Xephos and Honeydew - Make a game that involves digging! Don’t dig too deep though!
  • Landlord's Super - Your character can drink a nice, cold pint.
  • Caveblazers -  Live. Die. Repeat. Will would love it if you made a roguelike!
  • Drink More Glurp - Put some aliens in it!
  • Brunch Club - Have at least 1 throwable piece of food
  • Pitch, Please - Make it a cardslinger
  • Sips - Use at least 1 mechanic from Dude Sim: Alaska
  • Hat Films - Make a game that requires 3 people to control one character
  • High Rollers -  Make a game that uses a twenty-sided die in some way.
  • Barry -  Harry wants you to go back in time! Can you give your game the visual stylings of the ’80s with the Vaporwave theme?
  • Nina - *Nuzzles* Can you make your game look as UwU as possible?
  • Editors -  FMV - Can you make a Full Motion Video game? Use your camera skills to show the editors your storytelling abilities!
  • 2 Girls 1 CPU Modifier - It’s time to go 8-bit! Use only pixel art, Original Gameboy colour pallet and 8-bit sounds!

We’re delighted to have you join us for this jam, and cannot wait to see what you come up with. We hope you have a great time and look forward to playing your game!
