Great take on the theme! Certainly wasn't what I was expecting from the title/thumbnail, haha.
Making those planets was incredibly satisfying and really impressive, enjoyed seeing those little worlds take shape in my grasp.
Some more decor and worldbuilding could definitely go a long way, finding a way to introduce the world without a wall of text is always a big plus.
You really nailed the comedy and satisfaction factors though!
Thanks! I have to admit that the thumbnail was a click bait choice XD I will convince my partners to make a revamp to fix all the issues exposed. In the start the instructions are narrated in primeval tongs, but we didnāt have the time to polish that :āc haha. Regards!
Very cool concept and well executed! Loved the variety of tasks and FX added to the worlds! Very pretty game with well working mechanics <3
If you find some time this weekend, please check out our game āStarship Minisā and leave a comment to let us know what you think! https://itch.io/jam/vr-jam-2021/rate/1145490
Thanks and congrats on completing the jam!!
Thank you! I put all my efforts on de the design and shaders hehe ;D Iāll send my fellow comrades to your game right now!(since I donāt have a VR headset :āc). Regards!
I really liked this take on the theme! So creative! With a little more time to add in SFX and some particles for the sattelite shakers etc it would be super top notch! As it is, it was fantastic for a jam game. I only was able to finish one planet at a time, barely, like the other reviewers but its just a matter of making the timer a bit more forgiving, or giving extra points for fast times rather than no points at all. Great game!
Thanks! Take it for sure that a timer fix will come after the voting process, we apologize a lot for the issue hehe. Maybe Sound Design is coming too! :D Regards, Iām glad that you liked the concept!
I liked the planet shader you used, the environments feels nice, might be nice to add more depth to it. maybe hanging stuff on the walls or some decorations and some different color choices. but I think the game itself has a very nice concept and for 2 days jam you've done an amazing job already!
Thank you! Indeed, we didnāt achieve the set dressing and world building goals that we planned :āc Maybe when the voting process ends we revamp a little the prototype hehe. Regards!
I enjoyed the concept of this one quite a bit. Finishing planets on time was pretty difficult, and I could never finish more than one at a time, but that's a minor balancing issue. It was also neat seeing the effects of the customizations on the planets.
Yeah, we realized too late that we needed to balance time a little more hehe, we focused too much on the planet customization n_nā. But Iām glad that you enjoyed the concept itself, thatās very important for us! Thanks and Regards!
If you're anything like me you see the shiny piece of tech/art and then only focus on that for like 6 hours straight. Good job all around, keep it up and I'm excited for what you all make next =)
We will probably do a revamp of this game, as well as put up some project prototypes on the way. Hopefully we donāt disappoint you hehe :P
There's so much customization! Probably one of the more difficult planet builders of the jam. :P
Thanks! I hope you enjoyed playing it as well as we enjoyed making it <3 Regards!
Very cool!! Everything work very well and the graphics and effects are very nice!
The game is maybe a little bit too hard, i couldn't fullfill an order on time š (maybe i'm just bad).
But playing around making a planet is a lot of fun! Very nice work, very impressive for a 2day jam!
Thank you! We really appreciate that you liked it, but I agree with you, I think the difficulty level needs to be balanced a little more hehe. Regards!
