How does your entry adhere to the theme "virtual pet"?
Player must navigate through a nuclear wasteland and rescue mutant pets while avoiding "Radiation Zones".

I really liked the art and music. Love the idea for animal rescue too. Felt desperate trying to save the dog, really glad friendly fire not a thing because I kicked zombies near the dog lol.
Wasn't sure what would cause the nuclear rating to go up, guessing if touched the radiation zones or if take too long to rescue the animals like a timer.

Pet ExorcismLove the world, pixel art is just so charming! Wish my murder to pet rescue ratio was higher on the rescue side, but what can you do in a nuclear fallout apocalypse.

Twilight TankI really like the art and sound! It certainly hits the "In the Zone" sercet theme, but I'm not sure it's hitting the virtual pet theme, perhaps some kind of caretaking for rescued pets could be implemented?
